Terrible idea, the display on the Switch is too slow and too low resolution.
This is the issue, sure you could do real-time raytracing on the shaders but there would be a substantial performance penalty. Currently all the RTX cards have discrete hardware for accelerating ray tracing, I would not be shocked if these disappear in a few years and the shader design instead incorporates the hardware features, much in the same way GPUs once had discrete pixel and vertex shaders.
I still don't get why this would exist, why release new cards without your new key differentiating feature that AMD does not have?
This is a fairly logical request, in terms of game development the PS4 and Xbox One are some of the easiest consoles of all time.
It's only 30fps on consoles so it doesn't.
I mean it's pretty logical what will always be the outcome, all 4 consoles share very very similar hardware design that just differs in performance, price, and release date. If a game doesn't follow this order something is generally wrong with it.
Seems mostly worse
Without watching I'm sure it's PC > Xbox one X > PS4 Pro > PS4 > Xbox one
Shadow Fall was a gorgeous launch title, deserves more credit than it got.
Wondering what this actually entails.
Because steam is better and this will fragment the achievement system, invite systems, save storage, there's no guarantee that these new stores will be around in 5 years (remember games for windows live?). The new stores are a benefit to publishers, not consumers.
Awesome, I beat Yakuza 0 on PS4 when it released in the west and re-purchased it on Steam during a recent sale, glad to see SEGA is continuing to support the PC version.
Title is technically accurate but it's EA's fault, not the Xbox One X. They could have reduced the resolution by some amount to achieve the same or better framerate of the PS4 Pro but didn't.
Stupid title, instead of recognizing the progress they use it as an opportunity to bitch about the past.
Maybe tax guns instead
The few times I watched it I felt like it was just him reading off the Xbox store listings, waste of time.
No shit, any game with a lot of visual complexity that often involves shooting small targets can be difficult with poor eyesight. Get a pair of glasses, sit closer to your TV, or don't play the game.
They're not going to sell millions of copies on Xbox One, they don't sell millions on PS4.
Not a shock, Xbox is nonexistent in Japan, has very little presence in Europe, and Yakuza is already available on the most popular console in North America.
Playing it on the PC, I'm having a good time with it.
