The "it would depend on the PC... not all are made equally" argument should also apply to the Xbox One, as not all Xbox One's are created equal. There's not even any evidence that most Xbox Ones sold since November 2017 are the X model.
Nah, I play in true 4K on PC, not upscaled, and not at 30fps ever. Even "exclusives" like Forza Horizon are better on PC where you can play at 4K and 60fps, not one or the other.
I definitely think TLOU2 will release this year (probably Q3 or Q4) as we're coming up on 3 years since Uncharted 4 released, two since Lost Legacy. Supposedly development started before Uncharted 4 released.
Dreams is in beta now so it's definitely releasing in 2019.
I think Sony as they've got a big lineup of 2019 exclusives.
Just pre-ordered the PC version, less than $40 on CDKeys.
It hasn't revolutionized anything but it has raised the bar for world detail and complexity.
The raytraced variant was more real in its implementation of raytracing than any current RTX game, which just uses it to render reflections, or shadows, or global illumination.
It's probably a mistake in the title due to the author confusing ray-tracing with RTX. Ray-traced Quake has existed for a long time, a version of it accelerated by RTX though is new.
They've released Heavy Rain / Beyond Two souls together before and recently even made a triple pack version that also adds Detroit. It's a single case though with two discs, not two cases together as the picture here suggests.
I'd like to play it. I know that a lot of people are getting zombie and open world fatigue but the production values of this look pretty impressive and it should still provide a good experience. Will it reinvent the wheel? Probably not, but it doesn't have to.
I agree, developers could make most games 60fps this gen if they wanted to by sacrificing visual quality, world complexity, etc.
Lol, 60 fps is objectively better for games. There's less input lag, smoother motion, and more visual information being displayed each second.
Price and library. The library doesn't necessarily have to be exclusive but when one console plays all the same games + a bunch of quality exclusives it'll have an advantage especially if the hardware prices are about the same.
All of the streaming platforms have substantial input lag due to the physical limitations of the speed of light. I don't see myself ever wanting to stream a game.
Glad I preordered it when Amazon still had prime discounts for pre-ordering
Yeah, I think all new PS4 and Xbox One games are now required to have PS4 Pro and Xbox One X enhancements of some sort. It is unfortunate that there are a lot of games that will never be patched for both machines.
If you were confused as to whether ANY game was an Xbox One exclusive in 2019, you really haven't been paying attention to this generation at all.
Metro has never been Xbox exclusive.
It's been rumored for awhile that Bluepoint's next project is a Demon's Souls remake in the vein of Shadow of the Colossus 2018.
