I haven't played all day. If I hadn't come on here, I wouldn't have known it was down.
Lucky you.
Orth. Microsoft is trying to keep everything under wraps until they are prepared to divulge it. There are rumors swirling, but nothing concrete, and then one of their employees blasts fans concerns regarding the one thing that they are worried about.
Everyone freaked out when Disney bought Marvel saying things like, "Mickey Mouse is going to make a cameo in every Marvel comic!"
As far as I can tell, Disney has done a great job so far by leaving the comics alone and making quality individual Avengers members movies and then assembling (yes, I did it) them into one great movie.
I don't think n4g users will ever forgive Cliff for comments he made a few years ago.
While we all lament the closing of LucasArts, the games that everyone loves and adores were released many, many years ago. While the projects they were working on before the axe fell looked interesting, most of them were probably nowhere near being done.
Now that Disney will be licensing all the properties out, the future does look promising. For example, Tim Schafer could possibly make another Monkey Island game, Naughty Dog could do a proper Indiana Jones game, etc. (Thes...
It's well known that Yamauchi-san likes to take his time when making Gran Turismo games. Drive Club can fill the racing game void until it's finished.
8 vs 8 with everyone yelling, "Jason!"
Secret cameras? I thought that was Activision's MO?
But he has no reason to lie. He's out of gaming development and he has no desire to get back into it.
They turned a profit 5 years after releasing the 360. About the same amount of time it took Sony to make money on the ps3.
An Assassin's Creed game released every year? I beg to differ.
Let's not dupe gamers with a heart wrenching trailer that has no thematic relation to the real game. No one will be offended if we send out a half naked, half eaten figurine of a woman to game journalists. No, we are better than other game companies.
Bill Gates thought process: You know, we've done really, really well with the Xbox 360. We've sold many millions of consoles, have a great attach rate of software. A great online service that people are willing to fork over cash for. You know what? Let's stop here. Finish. Kaput. I feel like getting into the micro brewing.
There are some mistakes with your comment. They didn't give/buy back the Mass Effect series to Microsoft. Microsoft published the first game on the Xbox 360. EA wanted the sequels to go multiplatform and distributed 2 and 3 themselves.
KOTOR was on the Xbox because the system has similar architecture to a PC, which was Bioware's background. The ps2 was not a strong enough machine and difficult to develop for, so Bioware skipped Sony's system. Just like Mass...
Granted, I've never played it, but toucharcade said the best way to play it is to not upgrade your first car. Save all the money you can until you can afford to buy a car in a different tier. That way, you can go back and forth racing, or at least the wait wall won't be as long.
At the beginning of a new console's life cycle it is, but it becomes less important the further along a system ages.
Wish I could insert a gif right here...
@Jek Porkins: 3rd party mulitplatform games are not doing good on the Wii U, because people are buying them on other platforms. It's why Activision lamented putting BO II on the Wii U and why multiple publishers are skipping it. The majority of people who bought the Wii U did so for Nintendo exclusives. It's almost the Wii all over again.
3rd party games are flopping on the Wii U. It would have just added to the minus column in their financials due to development costs.
I don't have a Wii U, but I hope this game sells well. Kind of depressing to read all the problems third party titles have been having on the system.
