Seriously? Switch doesn't even get a full teraflop in docked mode, you think they'll be able to get two teraflops in 2019 in undocked mode? Even if they halve the node size and increase the size of the console, they'll get less than 1 TFLOPS undocked, and maybe 2TFLOPS docked if they're lucky.

I'd be willing to pay $499 for all the fixings and vapor cooling tbh. I think it's going to be difficult to hit that $399 pricepoint again. If they go Ryzen/Vega with 16GB of ram, that's pretty much pushing them over $400 anyway, and if they want 9TFLOPS it means another big, hot console. $499 seems perfect IMO. Make the console smaller, give it better thermals and less noise.

If you were to ask someone why they're loyal to a brand 99% you'll get a reason: games, controller, UI, impression of value, impression of console, community, etc. And saying people are only loyal because of a name is ridiculous. If Xbox shit in a box and called it Xbox, nobody would be loy...
It's probably much higher than that. I mean if they're putting up the "top reason" someone might say brand loyalty- breaking down that loyalty into factors like best games, controller, community, value, etc etc.

Most people get those cards to collect, these rewards are needed to progress in a game. It's telling people: You suck, wanna know what could make you better? $120 worth of lootbox gambling.
There are also economies where people can resell cards whereas your online rewards are usually just bunk and have no real world value.
I'm betting late 2019 and cross-gen with PS5. It already looks like there was a downgrade, atleast aliasing-wise with the latest set of screenshots, which makes sense because the original footage was like 20 fps. They'll probably make it 900p, 1080p on the Pro, and 1800p on PS5 or something.

There's 4K HDR Blu-Rays as well. At 100GB per disc it would be impossible for most people to stream them over their current internet connections. Just look at how stingy ISPs are becoming, do you really think they're going to give away faster plans for free? Physical is staying for a long time, maybe in 20-30 years we'll hear about them removing the disc player.
Good thing I'm casual and only care about PS exclusives for the most part. All I need to worry about is getting a 4K tv now and I'm set, looking at the x900e in around 3 months

No idea how you're downvoted. Nintendo simply doesn't own the IP. With the last two iterations being on their console though, it's been similar to how second party would run, but it's just not. It's still technically 3rd Party Exclusive so it's up to Platinum what system future installments are put on.
