I'm not saying it's a bad game, it just that do you expect they'll make money selling that game with requirements at that level? in the sort term they just can't justify the investment of engine development with potential game sell.
Really, I've always see Crysis as a tech demo for DX10 and the Cry engine, and they are really selling an engine rather than a game.
is this surprising at all? whats the point of bashing each other? 360 got about 2.5x in the number of hardware out there in NA, so the sell number being 2.5x of PS3's make perfect sense.

PS - no one know what happen to Warner's Blu-Ray license, have you EVER see any movie company says "look at me, i renewed my license".
I don't care about movie format, I don't buy movies, but since i own a ps3, i do rent blu-ray from time to time. However, I do prefer blu-ray when it come to PC format, there are time I want hard copy of data, the data per layer make more sense on blu-ray(since at this moment both burner and blanks cost about the same).
i think the issue from the start is that the guy doesn't have the receipt for his ps3 since it was a gift. but who knows, there is a chance of crappy support too.

Great looking game, and so far the reviews are good too. Since the dev did the original KOTOR I'm sure their game is well made.
lol talk about people who don't know hardware, GDDR8? thats just stupid, right now there are like 4 video cards out there that have GDDR4. GDDR5 are still in development/testing(due to release next year), what make them think it will jump 4 gen in 3 years?
4TB wont make sense because consoles will always go for the low end of HDDs for cost reasons.
Integrated CPU/GPU could happen, both intel and ATI are looking in to it.
