I can see upscale 1080p working but full 1080? unlikely with the bandwidth most people have.
Typing on your controller/key pad will be a pain in the butt too...
First of all, I agree with the bottom half of what u said.
Now for the first half.... I also have a q6600 with 8800gt, both overclocked. Crysis does looks good, if its a slide show. AI is horrid, animation is bad. physics and texture are extremely well done(best of what i've seen yet) BUT u have to lower the setting so much to actually keep it running with a playable frame rate.(you're screen shots and video shows that -.- not even 30fps most of the time.)
Finaly, cost is r...
Latency is a major issue, specially you have player input to deal with besides the video streaming for a game. The problem here is that you double the latency due to the fact that you are sending your input back to the server, and the input processing are at server's end, not a local machine. So for the result of your input to be displayed, your latency is magnified.
and @ 9.1
yah right, takes me less than 2min to start a game on ps3(thats including finding the game and s...
every capcom game so far thats multi are basically using the same programing for the 2 system, so we do see the same result of lack of AA on the ps3, and i can say that unless they dramatically change the way of their coding, all future multiplat from them will be about the same
Service, sure, MS is leading in online service.
Hardware, no, Nintendo is clearly leading that.
Games, Yes and No, 1st/2nd party offering is pretty much even with Sony atm.(I'm talking about the number and the types of games coming out, not how good they sell)
CES is not a game show, anything that have to do with 360 is likely going to be on the hardware and service side, so don't expect too much -.-
Blood, sometime i wish u could just stop posting these stupid fanboy fuel(not all ur post, but some are just, well, stupid). It's not like anyone actually expected LBP to sell better than Gears.
That's a good number, even tho I kinda expected a bit higher than halo due to the increase user base since halo...now... only if they share some of that money they're printing....
My guess is no price cut till KZ2 hits.....
I do agree with final_rpg
value is a very technical thing, the general public just don't have much of an idea about them.
For example, monster cables, a $100+ 3ft cable that do the same job as a $20 cable would do, but u still see people buying them regardless.
In terms of hardware, PS3 have much better value.
Software, 360 is currently leading, but the feature is unknown, since pretty much all 3rd party will go multi(specially with the crap econ we have atm) 1...
Nice way to say "F U, and hand over ur $$, core, arcade users" >.>
DD would be nice if it were portable...and I'm not gona waste my bandwidth on downloading movies, unless my IP somehow magically increase my bandwidth by 10 fold, there's no way i'm doing that.
Pimp, well, I do agree with you for most of it, with only 1 exception.
As an original XboX owner, I think MS have done a great job making the original xbox, this make 360's problem just seem to be such a big step down. Going form an almost perfect hardware to RROD just hurts...
wait a min... so they are charging $100 for ever 60BG upgrade(and some paint job)? that's such a rip off...
It's simple, when you make a multi-plat game, none of the codes transfer all that well between the two(with very few exceptions) so normally one side will be pushed aside, ps3 just not as high of a priority due to the # of them out there.
duh, 360 controllers support PC hook-up, PS3.. u have to hack it.
Not forcing? really?
As I recall, when vista came out, they completely ditch win2k support, and I end up choosing between xp and vista...(2k and xp are the exact same thing except xp got some extra skin, and they completely forced most of the programs only install for xp)
and guess what? they will likely do it again when windows7 come out and force you to change comp or "upgrade".
Well, I think XBM is fine as is, it got more settings, gives you more option and personalize organization. It`s well suited for someone who`s a bit in to techs. On the other hand, 360`s dash is great when you don`t want to use your head that much.
Online, the 2 DLC are going in very different direction, which is good. Services, Sony IS catching up. (Netflix means nothing since you still need to pay for their own membership, and if you want, u can stream it from pc to ps3 too...) ...
Your imaginary friend on a whole new level! -.-
