not to mention that OLED degradation does not follow linear path, the degradation actually slow down over time, so short period stress test does not represent actual life time of OLEDs.

ehh why does he even bother going into DRM, BD-J... like normal people who buy/watch DVD actually know wtf it is? Does he think millions of people buying from iTune care about DRM in their music? I'm one who have problem with sp1... the problem i have is the stupid boot error after installing, just end up in blue screen after restart and it keeps looping. tried it twice, both time ended up the same.
It's call hardware difference, like how different TVs have their own native setting for brightness/gamma. It is up to the users to change that TV setting to what they see fit.
In terms of PR, its fine for him to say all these, as long as MS NEVER put a BD drive on 360. But again, both company have done things they dismiss, that PR for ya.

You can cut down more on mobo and cpu evenmore, over clock it and it will run just as good. the 800 price tag can be lowered $150 or even more if you know what to get.

If you use his rig and run the games at the resolution consoles are running, he'll hit good fps for pretty much every game out there except crysis.
I sit between the 2, both have their good and bad. For about $500-700 you can build a nice PC that runs COD4 on med/high setting, and it come with all other PC functions that you use. Also, games are cheaper(it really adds up when you actually into games).
PC- I still prefer FPS on it, RTS, MMO, emulators.
Console - RPG, fighting, racing, TPS, single player games. (FPS can be fun, but still pick PC version if i got the choice.)
PS - Crysis is crap, even if you...

Also do not forget that many ISP do not provide fast enough or large enough bandwidth(with many going by a limited bandwidth per month now), DD wont work nearly as great as physical disks.
I guess they are just trying to unified their game dev for all those platforms, keep the cost and dev time down, since they ARE releasing games to all of them.
Well, if they are putting mmo on console then I guess they really don't have to worry much about WOW, but if they try on PC? I don't know if they'll say the same thing.

first of all, even though DMC and NG are both hack and slash, 2 are aiming at different style, NG is looking for more of reaction game play(aka staying alive while u kill) where as DMC is looking for style(looking cool while you kill).

Sure the new NG have some nice finishing moves but DMC let you make your own combo. Calling it shallow? please, Itagaki, show me this "deep" game that you talk about, NG and DOA are fun, but they are NOT any deeper than DMC.
