Fanboys are all the same, doesn't matter if they are in PS3/360 or Wii camp. Bashing fanboys wont do a thing, it only make you looks like one of them. Just ignore them and let them be, let natural selection take care of it.

It's call acknowledging other's pros and cons, that is what make improvements in games.

It would be a good idea to do it... but again if your not reading HDDVD as game format, then it just not all that important. Then comes the cost, i dont think MS is really all that willing to subsidize money on HDDVD drive, they haven't see any gain yet in the market(specially after that 1+ billion smash hit), i dont think they will go deeper by offering HDDVD and subsidize it to keep the cost appealing to buyers.

only thing that is "official" right now is from E3 06.. where Sega said it's for both 360 and PS3. we need some official word on this >.<

that will depend on how bad you want to play those games... and your pocket size.

even if they share some games, PC and consoles are 2 completely different market.

good for HD-DVD, finally making an effort on burner and using it as a storage media. That said, it will be hard for them to compete still for BD have a pretty good head start with their burners. (and the 4layer BD if it came true)

card game isn't everyone's cup of tea...you really need to like it to enjoy it (and have the $$ to enjoy it)

single player card game? whats the point for the cards then? it use actual cards because its for play with actual people. you don't even need those cards if you want to play with AI. and lack story mode? what?

I do agree with you that it is mostly games that move consoles, but if you look back to most of the console that come before it(includes 360, PS1/2, GC, N64, Sage consoles) their early days arn't all that happy and bright(maybe with the exception of wii). Yes, they do feel the pressure from 360 because development is much closer to PC's architecture, and they fact that they came out earlier, it will make them take more action than they use to with the ps2.

It's business, the mo...

I dont really care who is winning or not, all i know is, when i go to best buy/future shop, i see like 7-8 blu-ray player on display an only 1 HD-DVD player display wayy back in the corner.

HD-DVD isn't bad... it just doesn't have the support they need. Sure they got intel, MS, and some movie makers, but they don't have enough support from the actually disc industry. On top of that, they still have yet to put out any burners, a read-only format wont work well in today's market.

out sell ps3? likely(PS3 sell will pick up with the new sku, but out sell 360? umm thats pretty hard to do regardless) out sell wii? nope it wont.

Good point with the memory stick for PSP, but since PS3 do support 3rd party accessories, i can see they support some kind of USB memory stick adapter or card reader (those only cost like $10-20 anyway).
