who cares...you can make almost every game racist if you wanted to, it just depend how you look at it. people are way too sensitive about these issues in games these days.
is this that surprising? its Halo, 1-3 all base on the same theme, of course they looks alike. non the less, it will be a great online game for those 360 owners.

Awsome game. I dont see problem with cross gen trilogy...just that the no new xbox come out anytime soon (still waiting to buy 360, not gona till they fix rrod for sure.)
On the other hand, i'm pretty sure once epic tune the unreal engine 3 for PS3 and some more dev kits, the same quality can be done.

This whole deal was fake... i search the company that suppose to supply the HD-DVD drive, they said they only been ask to give wal-mart a cost assessment, there were never actual talk of making the players.
movie vs game? common... compare story of star wars and halo? halo can go to hell(specially 2, 1 isn't that bad).
you can already do in-game music from HDD, but this function's availability is up to the game dev decide.

well in Sony's HDTV + PS3/PSP deal, at least they are still selling their own TV, which the profit from TV can go to patch the PS3/PSP offering loss. AND one more thing, in these kind of deals, Warner Bros and HMV still get their full cut of sells profit(1st of all Warner isn't part of this, they just sell the movie. 2nd, HMV is retail, they never loss money in selling anything), Toshiba...
UMD is fine... it will just end like all Nintendo formats, "for this item only" such as cartridges(all portable Nintendo....and 64) , DVD-like disc for GC and Wii
well... judging from Halo2's story... this isn't that much better(some how i feel like looking at the original Halo ending there for a bit @_@)

why does hd-dvd / blu-ray matter? we are gamers... even if 360 carry HD-DVD games format shouldn't matter at all. (unless you actually collects HD movies)
looks pretty good. tho i dont want get in to the whole PGR vs GT stuff, but it is unfortunate that PGR got some of the content cut off due size restriction...i bet it would of look even better(and on par with GT) than those game play clip if it wasn't for that..

but again... ESRB are a bunch of a$$, who know what they will do next -.-
One other thing people have been missing is the fact that small scale Japaneses dev and H-rated devs are more likely to choose PS3 when they done with PS2 due to various reasons (local demographic, language support, etc.) and those small games does count, unlike American/EU game demographic, which go towards very large titles and large dev.
can't really see ps3 doing much till next year.
however, i wonder if halo3 will boost 360 sells as much as people think. most people that i know who want halo3 already have a 360, and i think that apply to a large chunk of the 10+ mil of 360 sells out there.
