Its because its something new. 3D full-body motion tech has never been done before on consoles the closest anything has got is Sony's 2D Eyetoy. People have got an idea of how it works from reading hands on previews from E3, and everyone seems to think its fun.
So if you are interested in it, it would be wise to preorder now cause once the casual find out about it don't expect it to be easy to find in stores.

Sounds like casuals are getting bored with the Wii, not a good sign for Move at all. If this is the case they certainly won't pick up Move since its just a Wii HD, at least with Kinect if will be something completely new to them.
Destructoid seem to give really high or really low scores these days, but Crackdown has been getting quite a few 9/8s a lot more than I expected.

How do these games make 360 fans jealous? Its just 10 images of 10 PS3 exclusives with no reasons to why 360 fans would even care about them, why not say to get Wii fans jealous or PC fans jealous?
Wonder if they will bundle it with the arcade slim, once the original arcade stock is gone the slim one will likely go for $149 and that with a $149 kinect would be $299. Then you throw in the savings which come with a bundle and its like $230. And thats if kinect is $149 (which I see being unlikely) if its $99 that the bundle could be sub $199.
Why is this surprising to anyone?
Developers have only had a year to make games for Kinect how can you expect anything but causal minigames, big production/hardcore games take multiple years to make so don't expect anything like that for a while.

As long as its under £100 then yeah I will be getting it day one, I've even preorderd to ensure that.
Wow thats move expensive than a Wii,DS and 360. You could even buy a PS3 for £50 more.
Bringing up the 360 for comparison just shows how insecure they are, if the game looked so great they wouldn't need to say anything at all since the game would do the talking.
All PS3 devs are the same, very sad really.
If Sony doesn't pass the Wii let alone the 360 then yeah, Sony will likely see the PS3 as a failure since they went from first twice in a row right down to last place.

When Kinect releases so many haters will be silenced. People obviously can't see the decrease in Wii sales, people obviously want something different now and its the perfect time for MS to strike.
Kinect will be huge there's no doubt in that.
The reason it was one of the best games and gained multiple awards was because it truly showed what Kinect is capable of and is a game which can't be replicated on any other console.
Its games like DC which will help make Kinect huge.
