There's a huge difference between bluray and 3D. Either bluray or hddvd would have become standard it was necessary for HD content. So bluray was like saying "would HD ever takeover" and obviously it would.

Wow looks like Japanese PS fanboys are the worst, its hasn't even been released there yet and they are already spamming the ratings lol.
The funnest part is the new 360 is ranked higher than both the PS3 and Wii in the overall bestsellers chart.
Doing this will make Kinect HUGE, MS is really pushing Kinect to be the next form of keyboard/mouse/controller wouldn't be surprising if their next OS revolves around it too.
Wouldn't be the same experience, holding a controller while playing would just give a Just Dance experience and the PSEye can't track in 3D without the controller so the game would be quite fail without kinect

They maybe equal in popularity when it comes to the hardcore, but Kinect is miles more popular with the casuals. And in order to get support from developers they need to reach the casuals to create a worth while installbase.
