Seems like everyone wants to forget about that (at least the fanboys anyway).
Just cause MS wants to shake of the hardcore shooter image of its console, everyone thinks games like Halo:Reach, Fable 3, Gears 3 and Forza have ll been cancelled and only Skittles and co remain.
Hopefully they will open their eyes at some point.

Except it lacks the motion controlled nunchuck which is required in most hardcore Wii games like Okami, Madworld, Zelda etc.
The only games Move can be used for are point and click games like shooters (eg killzone and socom) other games like The fight will be on the rails and require two controllers. You won't even be able to play racers with it due to the big ball.
So surprisingly Move is actually more limited than the Wii :S

Very doubtful, there aren't even HDTVs in every home and they released more than 5 years ago. 3DTV will only be in everyones homes when 3D without glasses TVs are as cheap as 2D HDTVs
MS once again shows Sony how its done.
This is what will make 3D huge in everyones homes, not the dated/expensive/inpractical glasses 3D which is only really suitable for cinemas
Would be amazing if in the xbox720 Kinect 2 would allow 3D without glasses. Combined with 3D full-body motion control it could feel like your seeing/touching a hologram.

Woah after reading more it seems like multiple people can watch the TV and be sitting where they like since the display will adjust. Now this is the kind of 3D which has a chance to take off in homes, rather than glasses 3D.
Its never gone out of stock, unlike the 360S which is back ordered till july 13 and has to rely on alternative retailers for stock.
Sad thing is the PS3 will never outsell the 360/Wii again in the US for the rest of this generation, even with a slim/$100 pricecut/GOW3 the PS3 still couldn't topple the its rivals. Now with the 360S/$199 360S/Kinect it won't EVER get close again.

If Kinect really takes off MS likely won't be releasing another console for a while, they already said they are in it for 10yrs. If Move bombs and the PS3 continues to remain in 3rd Sony may be forced to act first.

How is she standing in the light when she tries scanning it? Its pitch dark there. The fact that it even works in that lighting is a feat in itself.
Seems like the only sites trying to downplay Kinect are the ones playstation in their name, could it be fear? Most certainly.
Once Move bombs and Kinect succeeds these article will finally stop, bring on Nov.
He makes a good point, with full body motion control it would be silly to have rumble unless you had a whole suit which rumbles. Just imagine you foot getting hit but the rumble was just in your palm, that would make the experience feel fake.
Things like this is why 3DTV will never become standard. You can't block out 12% of the worlds population from watching TV/films/playing video games.
Thats what MS have done since the original Xbox launched
It all depends on where you place the camera, plenty of videos have been shown where you can stand closer. But of course the hate will continue until MS is forced to state the obvious just like playing and sitting.
Yep the Wii isn't going anywhere, but Kinect and Wii will live together since they are both so different.

Hopefully this will silence the haters who keep complaining about this feature, even though it was obvious it would allow it from the start.

Can't believe MS is starting so early, im sure it would be wiser to save their marketing budget for oct/nov rather than July. I wonder if they are even gonna bother advertising Halo: Reach.
Your right sales don't matter that much, but when people such as yourself start saying silly things like the PS3 will surpass the 360 WW things like this need to be posted to set you straight.
As for AW, 500K isn't amazing but is decent for a new IP with not advertising
