After those you get God of war, final fantasy, and resistance just off the top of my head. Also you never know what new ips might pop up.. I wouldn't worry about post 2008 too much though, I just hope the big games scheduled for 08 aren't delayed.
I play 360, pc and ps3 games and am satisfied with all three. This article acts like you have to choose just one format for games.
How does saying 2008 will be a great year = "giving up on christmas"? I have both consoles and I'm looking forward to ut and uncharted more than I am halo and mass effect. I'm gong to get all four, but if I had to pick just one holiday season game right now I'd go with uncharted.
Also I don't know about the "long shot" stuff either. The 360 didn't have a single killer ap its first year either and its doing fine.

After watching this video you can see the ai is pretty terrible. I love the cover system though and graphically the game looks amazing. It does remind me a lot of gears visually. I don't know about the textures though, since its hard to tell from such a small vid. The most important thing though is that they really do need to work on that ai. If they get the ai to gears of war type levels then this game will be a must own.
How is this being pinned against halo? Its only a demo, not the actual game, so its not like it would effect sales at all
Hopefully they ai will hand out lots of yellow cards for diving. I can easily see the diving feature being exploited online if it isn't harshly penalized.
Lets not forget how the technically superior xbox got spanked by the "lesser" ps2 last gen. It all comes down to the games, not the hardware.
Not in every way.. FIFA has dozens more teams, better graphics, better presentation, better online play and official kits for all leagues.
In the gameplay though pes is the clear winner every year.
I've already read on IGN (forget which article) that a demo will be out AFTER the game, which sucks of course. But its still great to hear some positive feedback for lair.
The ign uk reviewers played through the entire game and said it was 6-7 hours.
Do you know how long is it then? I've read 12-15 hours is the "official" length, and that would be fine. But all the reviews seem to say its shorter.
