ngs had plenty of loading time.. it loads up when you first boot it and has small 2-3 second loads intermittently during gameplay. what version were you playing?
Thats a total myth, you don't need a $6,000 or even a $2,000 machine to run high end pc games. My box total was about 1500 and that was a whole year ago and its still way higher than crysis' minimum specs. Yea I won't get to play it at max specs I'm sure, but it'll still look better than most of the fps games on my 360 or ps3
They're raising the bar for marketing, innovation and casual gaming, thats for sure. As for non-casual games, they're pretty much just doing the same zelda/metriod thing they've been good at for years.
Yes, lair was a huge flop, and its a game people love to hate. But I'm with radient on killzone2, its WAY too early to be talking about flaws in the kz2 gameplay. At this point all you can say is that its a great looking game with a lot of promise, theres just too little info out on it to make any judgment.
That doesn't make any sense. If review sites had a pro-america bias then you would have seen the same thing happen with the original xbox. The ps2 had dozens more highly reviewed games than the xbox.
I loved the demo. I had zero expectations and just downloaded it because there was nothing else on psn that I wanted and was surprised by how good it was. The graphics were top notch, the gameplay was smooth and it looked like they were doing some interesting things to add variety to the gameplay.

Crackdown was a sandbox game and had a very good demo. It just gave you a small portion of the map and some simple objectives to do to let you get a feel for the game. Theres no reason why assassin's creed can't do the same.

I've played through both, and enjoyed resistance single player more and halo3 multiplayer more. Both are great games and its just up to personal OPINION which one you like more. Flamebait stories like this are pointless.

Actually they lost me on the headline when they said the winter lineup was full of "stinkers". Uncharted looks better than anything comming out on any platform this holiday season.
I own a ps3.. and I seriously hope I'm wrong on this, but I really get the feeling haze will be a huge flop. Everything about the game just screams flop to me. From the overconfident, smarmy devs to the gimicky necktar thing. Uncharted and ut are the only ps3 games i'm interested in this winter, haze just seems like a giant failure waiting to happen from what i've seen so far.
Agreed, comparing devil may cry to god of war is like comparing scarface to the godfather. dmc is good but gow owns it on every level.
I have both consoles and a gaming pc so delays don't really effect me much since theres usually always something decent to play, but a delayed game that ends up good is good forever, a bad rushed game is bad forever. I'd rather the devs take their time, even if it means a couple extra months.
It does make sense to get mad at the hardware issues because when people buy something they expect more than a 1/3 chance that it will die on them. I've got a 360 and it hasn't died on me, and I know I've got the long warranty and they'll fix it for free but i'd still be pissed off it rrod on me bc its simply a pain in the ass to get it replaced and when I spend a few hundred dollars on something I expect it to work.
