Yep, this has "time travel twist" written all over it. Something like being sent back in time to alter something about the crusades. We'll see in a few days either way.

I know what you mean. On nov. 20 w/uncharted and mass effect I may be tempted to use a few of those sick days from work i've got saved. This winter is the best holiday season for games that i can remember.
Don't you get it by now? It isn't about having the best graphics or being the most technically advanced. Its about how much fun it is to play. If smg really is on the level with mario 64 and sm3 I may be tempted to pick up a wii myself this holiday (if I can find one that is).
A great game is a great game. I'll gladly take mario galaxy over some of the bloated "next gen" busts like liar and two worlds.
wtf are you talking about? Screenshots have been a function on fps games for years now. I've still got screenshots on my pc from quake 3, and that came out about ten years ago. Please stop acting like halo was the first fps ever. Its a good series but not the huge innovator that fanboys love to say it is.

They should have thrown resistance in there with it (still the best ps3 game by far imo) or motostorm for a non m rated game. Great deal either way though.

Final fantasy series has some pretty horrible wardrobe for the characters, especially ffxiii, but I actually liked lulu's. It was creative, and wasn't over the top slutty like some (fran) but still hot.
Are you kidding? So by your post epic will finish the ut port for the 360 AND make a gears 1 360 special edition with all the pc content AND make an entirely new sequel to gears, all within about 11 months? Maybe that'd be possible if they doubled their staff and pulled all nighters everyday until thanksgiving of '08.

Unless its added single player content I'm not really interested. Resistance had a great campaign but its multiplayer is pretty crappy.
Higher prices makes sense, given that consoles are more expensive to make now, but I could see it changing. I'm probably dating myself here, but I remember being in high school when snes and genesis games were $60-70. The prices eventually did go back down for games.
We need to see more competative pricing, like when 2k cut the prices of their nfl and nba games to $30 to undercut ea. Stuff like that brings more attention to (hopefully) better games and is good for us gamers' w...
What a crappy vid. The camera guy seemed way more interested in jayde than in the game. Can't say I blame him completely though since she is hot.
I think the only reason the first darkness did as well as it did was because it came out in a complete dry spell for both the 360 and ps3. This spring/early summer there were no new good games for either console so it had no competition. It was a decent game, but nothing to get excited about. I'll likely pass on the sequel.
This site's assasin's creed review sucked too. They need to go way more in depth on their reporting and spend a little more time writing.
What else could they possibly do to make it more noob friendly? The matchmaking system works perfectly to line players up by skill level. Just like anything else in life the only way to get more out of it and increase your skill is to just play the game.

I played and enjoyed all three halo games and the story line was the weakest part by far. Compare the plot of halo to the plot of half life, fear or bioshock. Its no contest. Maybe all the halo novels have better plots, i wouldnt know since i haven't read any, but based only on the games halo's story is just average at best.
The halo games are popular bc of their great gameplay, and superb multiplayer only. The storyline in the single player is mediocre at best and unless they made huge changes it'd make for one really dull movie.
Edge reminds me of the music review site pitchfork media. They both give intentionally low scores to great games/music just to stir up controversey, get hits and fuel their elitist reputations.
