"30 Days of Night" on blu-ray is the most eye candy I've ever seen. If you get a blu-ray player this year for Christmas, I would recommend you start there and enjoy the show :)
Microsoft viral marketing must be in full swing because I lost count of how many stories I have found recently trying to include this game's title in the same sentence as Little Big Planet. I knew Little Big Planet was going to change the industry and this Microsoft game isn't going to be the last game that tries to copy the core idea behind Little Big Planet.
There have already been games released that have used more disc space than a DVD. I'm sure there will continue to be games that use the extra space as well.

Episode One is really good if you don't know already. So check out Two if you can. But if you haven't played One but can only buy one of the two buy Episode Two. :)
Just wanted to chip in with my take on Killzone 2 and if it will change the industry?
Yes and No.
Gameplay - NO. It's a FPS so it will remind you of another FPS. Just like every other FPS plays like a FPS, duh.
Graphically - YES. It changes the console based benchmark.
I started a post and included the doomsday line before you posted and because I had to answer an incoming phone call you beat to the punch. But good reference. Great minds think alike. :)
I don't know personally and I'm not about to look, but articles like these are fanboy fuel so all parties involved might fall into that catagory because doomsday is not on the PS3 calendar dispite the ammount of articles produced proclaiming the opposite. I have and will ask again how can anybody comment on articles like this in the Gamerzone honestly? I call the truth in games so in different comments with different console topics I call it right or wrong specific to that console and story...
Screenshots led me to believe this was a HD version of a PS2 game and it looks like I was right.
So the PS3 needs an install because the disc read speeds are slower than DVD, but then the 360 might need an install to help console reliability. OK, so now both consoles have installs. Does this mean I won't have to read about how installs are the end of the world anymore?
Looks like the fighter to buy this Christmas.
I believe there is truth behind the notion that this is being made out to be a real problem to potentially scare players away from a particular version of the game and that is why some reviews were changed because some sites want to keep any credibility they might have left. There are glitches in every game on every system. To only hear of the suffering from one side of the platforms defies logic and screams fanboy.
I didn't know that Apple put out movies, music, video games, televisions, dvds, vcrs, blurays, computers, cell phones, and more. Apple must be doing it.

Maybe in theory this is true that Microsoft's exclusive DLC is only exclusive for a certain ammount of time, but because the wait is so long even for MS to recieve the content I'm almost positive that a game company wouldn't waste time trying to support whatever the game in question is once the exclusivity window has passed. Usually those windows are 6 months to a year and it could be months before the content is released for 360 (GTAiv). And who will care about DLC of a game that could be ...
I expect Killzone 2 to graphically mop the floor with everything released before it. If it doesn't I'll be disappointed.
I totally missed all that during the video. I'm sure if I sat and played both versions for hours I could figure it out, but for you to spot that and label it for somebody slower like myself, you should be proud.

That top 5 list has all the games I would have put in the top 5. I would change the order however. Call me crazy, but I'm going to have to say that the Naruto game would be my number one overall because in it's own way it's taking next-gen further than what I've seen so far. I don't even like Naruto, but after playing the demo and trying to watch an episode on Cartoon Network out of curiosity I have to say Namco has done such an unbelievable job with the game it's almost a crime to not ran...
