Well, whether we are happy or not with some aspects of whatever DLC, one thing is for certain, by the time the last dlc comes next spring, this game is going to be massive and full of variety to please everyone.
A quick question regarding guys who has played Close Quarters, whats it like for Shotguns, like, are they dominating the matches or are guys mixing it up? Because the whole idea of everyone running with shotguns has me undecided on this dlc.
Thats one thing i hate about this gen, way too much focus on shooters and then when you play the shooters they all feel the same with the exception of a few standout titles. I guess its a result of the crazy sales of COD and Halo, other companies want those type of sales so they jump on the bandwagon and sacrifice originality or creativity.
Its a tricky situation as im sure most developers want to make something new, something different but the publishers are not to keen on that kind...
People always using words like "revolutionary", "groundbreaking", "mindblowing" etc...
We all know thats rarely ever the case, but in Quantic Dreams case its very likely that they will live up to their taglines, they broke boundaries with Heavy Rain which truly was a "revolutionary" game and im sure this one will be too.
Damn right, it was terrible. They seem intent on making the Xbox a Media Center with loads of cool but shallow gimmicks and seemingly ignoring, or rather neglecting, its main aspect...GAMING!!!
Last year it was pretty bad so i assumed it would make up for it this year, it the end it was probably worse really.
Ah, i was thinking i was reading into it wrong and it just didn't sound right anyway.
Cheers guys.
Anyone noticed the layout of the objectives above the mini-map on the 3rd Armored Warfare pic:

There's one all by itself....?
Anyway, great trailer, not a bad deal either but i don't like the idea of certain guns and especially modes being available to premium guys only, not that it will effect me but i can ...
Nice one.
Bookmark this, but then again i always have about 10 pages bookmarked for E3, just in case.
As for the PS 'Home' broadcast, anyone know if thats in HD and would it be reliable, didnt it have problems last year or something?
I dont know, im still very skeptical that PES will return to its glory anytime soon, if at all. Every year its the same, they've improved this, improved that, new feature this, added that etc.. and still it turns out to be a frustratingly flawed game.
FIFA is my footie game now even though i can only play that now and again as it can become very frustrating and limited if i played it a lot. As good as FIFA has becoma, it still doesnt give me full control, like where i can picture...
Brilliant, i just discovered these two games in the last few weeks and have been completely absorbed by them, im only about 10 hours into Dark Souls and it just carries on from Demons Souls in terms of quality. If only all sequels were like this. They have that old school feel but at the same time feel so fresh.
There is a slight disappointment with this news though, i was kinda expecting/hoping a third 'Souls' game to be announced at E3, but thats highly unlikely wit...
Damn, thought it was a new trailer, instead its the destruction trailer from "Inside Dice" last week.
Would love to see more.
Enjoyed Gun a lot and of course Red Dead Redemption which set the bar to dizzy heights, but would still like to see developers have a go at this genre nonetheless.
EDIT:
Sorry, i misread tweets post.
Yes, i agree and callahan09 hit the nail on the head.
I only played this game this month and man what a surprise for me, i had a completely different game pictured in my head. I loved it, i got completely absorbed into it. Imagine if they did close the servers now and i played it and never experienced the online side of the game which was original and worked very well. That would of been a shame. So yeah, if devs want to shu...
(*SPOILERS* regarding GTAIV & Red Dead Redemption)
Exactly. Its completely different writing for games opposed to tv and film. You are in control of the character(s), so they have to write something that applies to and doesn't contradict the many possible actions the gamer can do with the protagonist. Its very hard to do.
I think it would be better to judge a story on its general outline and main plot points, instead of focusing on the main characters...
Yeah, but theres so many multiplatform games that run great on the PS3. Like recently i finished Max Payne and that was perfect and looked great. Ok its not as big as Skyrim but look at GTAIV and Red Dead, they were fine and also looked better. Consider driving high speed thru the cities of GTA, with all the things going on, and the only problem you might have was some slowdown. Thats one of the many reasons why Rockstar are my favorite developers.
Dont get me wrong, i love B...
I have the PS3 version and kinda knew what to expect with Bethesda, but assumed it would be fixed after all this time. But i seem to be reversed compared to everyone else, before the patches it ran fine, well ok it had a few hiccups here and there but smooth enough, even as my save file grew very large.
Since the patches, it only got worse, doesn't make any sense.
@MySwordIsHeavenly
Obviously they have not. If you care to browse the web, or even the commen...
When i played Skyrim when it was released it was fine, i didnt experience the problems others were having. Then i kinda got stuck into Battlefield and kinda left Skyrim for a while. After finishing Max Payne the other day i was kinda bored and look at my collection and noticed Skyrim and was delighted as i had completely forgotten about it.
Popped it in, updated it, start playing and bam, kept freezing as i entered water. After a few freezes i looked it up, solved it by re-in...
Agreed, Half-Life is all about the singleplayer experience.
I love Valve for the same reasons i love Rockstar; they do what they want when they want, they dont jump on the "whats hot" bandwagon, they're very creative and fresh; when you play their games it never feels like 'been here, done that' like so many games this gen does. But most importantly of all, they respect gamers.
But they're complete bastards for keeping us waiting so...
Yes, was glad to hear this. Some rare common sense from Dice.
My two main worries regarding CQ were shotguns and explosives, mainly RPGs. Im worried that every game will be either a shotgun fest or an rpg fest.
At least now they seem to have solved the explosive qualm, but i can't see how they will discourage everyone from using a shotgun, because thats gonna be the case in CQ.
Im not happy with CQ, as i prefer more of the traditional large open battlefiel...
Damn right!
What a nutjob!
