Well, you can go into server options turn off custom servers.
I think this a great addition, a little bit messy at the moment but thats expected, this is the first time this has happened on consoles.
Theres still the official servers, they've just given us more choice and variety, plus the ability to have our own server to play with friends and hold competitions. How is this a bad thing?
If you dont like it dont play on them. Use the Server Browser, find an official server that suits you and walah.

I got the Turtle Beach P11's, the cheapest models available i think, got it for BF3 but use them for all gaming now, just love them, make a huge difference to your experience with its crisp sound and with all the little sounds you wouldn't notice thru the tv.
The mic is great too, the inline chat/game volume control is so handy.
I think the quality of my headset, comfort and sound, is top notch, so i would love to see how good the more expensive mode...

Yeah, i was actually thinking of Battlecorder, how it would be great to record those battlefield moments. Spectator mode would still be cool though, but yeah, Battlecorder is what i would love to see on PS3.
Brilliant, this would be great. Hope it comes to PS3. Had so many crazy moments in BF3 and wished i had it recorded. Then again, knowing my luck, if we get this i will probably have the most boring games ever where nothing crazy will ever happen.

My favorite developers by far, they know what their fans want and they give it to them with more effort and care than most other developers put together. Never rush things, never overprice, never bullshit their fans and always stick to their guns, they make their games the way they want to and don't get affected by whats currently popular and selling well. (DICE take note)
The only other developers that come close is Valve, i like valve.
My experiences with Gamestop here in Ireland isn't anything like i read there. Buy your game, the guy might suggest some disc insurance crap or something, say no, no problem, that's that. Ask them a question and they're great help, never trying to force anything on me.
The thing i find is that as a purely gaming store, their prices aren't the best and sometimes i cant find a game i want. I mostly go to Xtravision and even though its an all around entertainment...
I agree that the influx of cod players definitely effected the gameplay in BF3, guys ignoring the objective and focusing on their k/d ratio with the easiest means i.e. USAS, Famas, MAV etc...
But its not all down to cod, there is a lot of players who came from cod who do play the game how its supposed to be played and there is a lot of guys who dont but never played cod either, they're just idiots basically.

Like one guy said, good story, atmosphere and great characters. But let down by its shortness, easy platforming and combat.
Still, i liked it and would like to see more games that take the positives from this one.

Well i just finished MGS3 again from the HD Collection today and for me The Big Boss is by far the greatest gaming character ever created, hell even Eva, Boss and Ocelot are far ahead of most gaming characters, especially nowadays.
Like the first poster said, its all down to personal preference. I like Shepard, he is a great character, but i would guess, like me, that he isnt even in the top 5 for most gamers. Nathan Drake, Solid Snake, Agent 47, Mario, Sonic, Kratos, Gordon ...
Do, its one of the most underrated series of games ive played. Its simply a blast to play.
Oh, i do this to change weapon attachments and such, but never noticed any vehicle option. Man, all this time and the option was right there in front of me.

Around 2/3 years ago i would of been annoyed by a comment like that and would of tried to explain to you why we most keep faith and this is the year that pes will come back etc...
But as a huge pes fan that has been so disappointed year after year since pes 6 and has been foolish enough to listen to some of those delusional pes fans and early previewers who feed me the same crap every year.
