Well its not really that i dont agree with you, you probably are very good using the Assaults and have done well with them, but that doesnt mean they are superior to the other guns, it only really means they are superior for you.
Its a matter of personal preference, there's guys out there that has such a k/d ratio with the LMGs and PDWs, to them the Assault rifles are weaker.

Delighted to see that both aircraft will be destroyed in a collision, had a few occasions lately where i would hit a jet and i would die, whereas he'd fly off fine.

Actually i feel the LMGs are fine, likewise with the PDWs. The M249 is my favorite gun and i prefer it to any of the Assault ones. Also, i used the PDW-R when i was being an aggressive Recon and i thought it was a great gun. Im playing Assault now i think the guns are fine but i still dont think they are superior to any of the other class's weapons.

Bullet spread is from recoil, so if the min spread is decreased, does that not mean that recoil itself is decreased?

Kinda confused about the "Heavy Barrel", its meant to make weapons more accurate over longer distances, which it doesn't, and now they seem to be making it worse or am i just reading it wrong?

Completely agree regarding R3, so underrated. The tone and atmosphere reminded me of Half-Life 2, the world was brilliantly created that way. Also the characters and story itself was way ahead of any other shooter in the last few years, not to mention probably the most diverse and creative use of weapons of any game ive played.

Not a bad article. CODs success certainly affected gaming this generation, for good but more so for worse. Like people and the article itself already stated, it has took too much of the limelight away from other great games which led these developers to copy aspects from cod, sacrificing originality and innovation, just to get the attention of those gamers.

I usually split my gaming between a singleplayer game and multiplayer game, but once you get stuck into Skyrim its like the black hole of gaming, just takes away all your gaming time. So to prevent missing out on other games, i had to give it a break for a while.

Havent played it in a while, left it to give other games a chance i.e. BF3 & MGS HD Collection, but the game is so huge its gonna be hard to get back into the swing of things.
I know the Max Payne delay would suggest a later due date for GTA than the usual June/July release. But i still think they will release it late August opposed to the Christmas period, well i hope so anyway. I would be devastated if they push it into next year. But i will be very surprised if that happened.

4 for me was probably the best "game", but weakest story in the series, not that it was bad, just the others were better. Even 2, when people think of 2 they think of Raiden, but 2 was very important to the story and was actually a great game with some of the best MGS moments and memorable characters.

First it was Metro but now the they are starting to take over the other maps and really taking the fun out of the game.

Just one of the greatest games of all time is all. I loved it, i dont understand the "overrated" remarks about it, but it doesnt surprise me either. Different taste and all that.
If more people put the time and effort into a game like Rockstar do, gaming would be so much better. Instead we have the same games every year with a bit of polish, things that a good patch could of done, i.e. COD, FIFA, PES etc...
This last week on BF3 (PS3) has been very rough, with random game freezes and noticeable input lag, among other odd little bugs.
Although, i put on my mic for the 1st time this week and it worked fine, but i definitely understand im in the minority here.
But yeah, fix the voip and definitely nerf the mini earthquake gun aka the USAS with Frag rounds.
Yeah, when i seen that mentioned on a preview i was reading it definitely got my attention, i started looking it up big time.
Played the demo today, really enjoyed it. Two small things that bugged me, the static minimap, hate them in any game, much prefer it when it moves ot your point of veiw. The other thing was the archery, dont like the feel of it at all, whereas i love it in Skyrim.

For me Bethesda are the kings of RPG's, just like Rockstar are the kings of the sandbox genre.
Although Kingdoms Of Amalur has kinda popped out of nowhere for me, never really noticed it til now and after looking at a few videos, im actually very excited about it.
As much as i love Skyrim, i lways wished for more of a karma system and choice & consequence focus. Kinda like Mass Effect & Heavy Rain did.
Would be nice if they gave us Quads, ability to quit between rounds and also change vehicle loadout without having to leave the game and going to "My Soldier".
Laser Guided Missiles now being distracted by flares is a big disappointment, they should try to encourage players to use the rare SOFLAM/CITV and Javelin/Guided Shell combination instead of making way less effective.
Also dont think the USAS was nerfed enough.
