Dell for Enterprise is still among the best in terms of reliability and maintenance.
Open your eyes, not everyone has the time or care to build their computer. Some just want work done!
@ProA007:
Sony knew they couldn't deliver this game in time. At E3 the developer said the game was 40% complete mere 3-4 months away. Even annual sequels take at least 18 months with planning and most of the technology in place.
Not only is it rushed, but BS!
You don't have a 40% complete game then suddenly aim for 60fps and expect release 3 months later. Sony just strung you along.
Easy to develop for PS4 my @ss? <...
I knew this was going to happen.
Called it back when dev said 40% at E3!
My eyes just about popped out of their socket.
And get this, they were aiming to achieve 60fps at 1080p. Sony knew back then it couldn't have been released in time for launch, but Sony just strung you along!
@mondy:
That is funny, I recently heard rumor of a game called Driveclub being delayed. It was only 40% finished at E3 this year.
Maybe that was the Xbox One fault too?
edit: Driveclub being delayed is NO LONGER A RUMOR and CONFIRMED TRUE:

and next month we will just be back to the status quo when the GTA hype dies off.
I highly doubt AMD executives are money showering because of this.
AMD got the business from MS and Sony, because they are the only one willing to go low margin. Meaning this isn't very profitable, and their real hope is that it gives them the leg up in the PC business against Nvidia.
AMD is not in a position to bargain like nvidia is. AMD stock is already down almost 7% after hours:
@hakoom:
What PFFT is saying is that the articles you talk about are taking quotes out of context and putting it in such a light. It's called twisting someones word, and that usually means consumer get confused by the opposite message, when the messenger didn't say it in that manner!
You don't need a fancy next generation technology to play an IOS game. It can jsut as easily been played on the numerous Android consoles costing less than $99.
I'm sure these indie games to an extent sell on consoles, but I think they are better relegated to Steam, Ouya and similar devices, tablets and smart phones.
I think that will reflect in the sales.
The CoD train stopped when Black Ops 2 was releast last year, and it is starting again this November.
Get with the program!
It wouldn't surprise me if PS4 was overheating.
Sony are great hardware makers, but historically both the Xbox 360 and PS3 was huge, and had huge fans and such.
Fast forward, Xbox One is huge with a huge fan, whereas PS4 is tiny. Sony is great, but small tightly squeezed packages retain way more heat and dispel far less heat.
It can't be tiny and make no noise. That doesn't add up!
Something has to give, otherwise...
I think it is more that more gamers now game on smart phones and tablets, eating into console market.
The shift has already happened, because of the long delay. Some of my friends has gone back to PC, and I'm somewhere in between. Love the ease of use of consoles, but PC is where leap in graphics are at. I'm talking major leap to the point of 2k or 4k with everything on.
The price of PC games are also unbeatable, but man I love me that convenience.
If you are a core gamer, and looking at games for launch and launch window, there is only one console that has it all, Xbox One!
Titanfalls alone is a console seller, let alone Forza 5, Killer Instinct, and Ryse.
The long term, neither Xbox One or PS4 has really shown us much in terms of games. So much can change their, such as Agent and Guardian, that never saw the light of day. It cruised through the entire previous generation.
Some of the most creative things comes from indies, but I never really found myself really caring.
I have seen some interresting indie games, even bought some, but just never get around to playing it when I have bigger games to play.
That is me, and I know people that love indie games. It's just hard for me to get excited, but Kinect One and indie's that could be a killer combo.
At E3 Driveclub was said by the devs themselves only to be 40% finished. Meaning with 4-5 months left the game has 60% left to finish, and still runs at 30fps aiming for 60fps.
A game should be roughly 80% complete that far into the dev cycle, with optimization and bug fixes and so on especially on a launch title.
Is this a surprise that it will be delayed?
I thought the PS4 was easy to develop for, but Sony first party is having trouble too....
@Orange:
"RE: hot patches, faster downloads... none of that really bothers me, so long as the multiplayer in games has the same lag as Xbox."
If ease of use and convenience doesn't matter to you much, then PC would give you the best visuals and likely give you the same or better experience on lag than a PS4.
"Can anyone comment on lag comparisons for multi-platform games?"

@newmonday:
"you have to admit, most who will buy the XB1 are doing it out of brand loyalty or getting it as the second console alongside the PS4 because they can afford it."
Ok, based on what?
Last I checked, the Xbox One was sold out everywhere, and heralded in Toy's R'us top items this holiday and Popular Mchanics heralded Xbox One the "Breakthrough Award" for innovation.
Xbox One also has more ...
Bark is what your dog does and not you hopefully!
The controller is an option, and so is Kinect One. Take your pick, because both will be well supported!
@obelix01:
Yup, your internet service is far more likely to crap out than the cloud. Even if the cloud is down, it will be up again.
Large businesses (thinks worth billiones) rely on mission critical software to run on Azure. Somehow you think your paltry non-important game isn't up to the task for Azure Cloud?
If it was somebody like Sonyh that has almost no experience with the cloud, and got hacked because they were running unpatched s...
AA is future proof.
Two decades from now, you will still find AA batteries in store!
Do you think two decades from now you will find proprietary integrated batteries for the PS4 DS4 controller?
That is aside from the fact that AA batteries (or rechargeable) can be cheaply bought and is far more convenient to use.
When controller is drained, we just replace the battery instead of being tethered to our console with a 6ft cord...
MS hinted towards keyboard and maybe mouse use in the future.
Who knows, this might just be their pretty living room PC, not just a media box.
