So there is no doubt the PS4 is likely to sell more initially, but will it in the long run?
The market hasn't really gotten bigger for core gamers. If anything, it has gotten watered down, and some of these casual gamers that once bought a console are now on tablets, PC, smart phones ...

I thought those were 5 excellent reasons why I'm getting Xbox One, but I would add the unprecedented online multiplayer with *real* dedicated servers and not pseudo-P2P gaming experience.
The instant switching is another feature I really like. I can Skype with my girlfriend, what youtube video while playing a game, all at once!

i.e. they are developing for 2-3 year old hardware meaning it isn't top of the line so I doubt they even have that demanding game to begin with.

Alan Wake LE is the best LE I have ever bought.
It has the developers commentary IN GAME for F's sake!
I have two, one sealed and one open. If Alan Wake 2 comes out and is a hit, the LE would be worth a lot sealed!

Basically KillZone has P2P multiplayer. All the other stuff on dedicated servers is how it is run normally, on all P2P games.

I think what you are seeing now is the niche hardcore. They tend to be early adopters that pre-order and are very vocal about their gaming habit.
However, once you cross over to the mainstream consumers that are more interrested in a family device. They don't pre-order, don't care about the latest specced games, only what junior, sis, daddy and mommy can do together and alone. That is the market MS trying to widen their net to.

I no longer have time to hone my skills in these games anymore. Barely have time to play any games.
Other than the hardcore niche group, the rest of the world views it with an objective eye and will see how fantastic technology is built into Xbox One.
It is just the fangirls that dismiss this, but let me speak to deaf ears and say MS (or even Sony) has far more important avenues to spend their money.
I think that is an incorrect assesment.
When exchange rates are increasing at a disadvantage to the retailer, does the retailer increase the cost?
Amazon is a great company and I love them, but I don't think it is fair to only look at it at a lack of benefit to consumers, without considering the business as well.
