since when has indie games ever been a system seller.
The vast majority of them isn't something I would spend a dollar or heck 5 mins.
I take the console with the games I want to play on, and that is AAA games on Xbox One until I see a indie game I want.
I haven't found one yet, but if that is all you got to play then well....
Megaton! However, this just confirms what has been coming out all along. It is just official now.
This is huge though and I'm buying all my multiplayer games on Xbox One for sure. Skype, instant switching, smart matchmaking, reputation system, Kinect video feed and dedicated server means multiplayer is best experienced on Xbox One!
Thank God we are no longer getting subpar P2P or proxy server online games anymore at least on Xbox One.
Goo...
Sony did say PS4 can have dedicated server, but we all know how that went with:
* Titanfalls: not on PS4, because Sony don't have the infrastructure
* KillZone: essentially has P2P with a proxy server
* CoD Ghosts: again has similar setup to KillZone on PS4, but has real dedicated server on Xbox One
So can, doesn't say much either really. Can't can also be turned into a *CAN* or *DO*!
It depends on how good it is implemented.
An example, on the Xbox 360 patches would not require a restart of the game. In fact, it quickly downloads the patch while the intro screen is running, logs you out then in, and bam you are playing.
No installation, no waiting for a large patch and more importantly, no restart of the game necessary like on other consoles.
I'm buying the Xbox One due to the killer features with instant switching, Kinect, the cloud and the games.
Can't wait to try Ryse, Killer Instinct, Project Sparc, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Halo and of course Titanfalls.
I'm crossing my fingers for another Gears of War and Mass Effect using Kinect!

"@nukeitall: You're right, I rarely use the sales argument,"
Unless it benefits your agenda you mean?
When it was swinging the other way, it didn't matter and you were claiming the opposite.
"but the proof is on Amazon if you want to look. You'll have to look back a ways though because PS4's pre-order numbers have been higher for quite a long time."

Home J Simpson is as reliable as any other anonymous or hiding behind a internet nickname source that gets touted around here.
I think a more detailed answer would have been appreciated Mr Yoshida.
I don't think one can say anything to appease the fangirls, because they only listen and hear what they want to hear!
Every one else moves and play their console of choice.
@Pumblechook:
Doesn't matter what specs on the PS4 is better, if you got lagging up the wazoo cause KillZone is on essentially P2P.
Point being, the cloud is real, it is here and it is coming to Xbox One. We are already starting to see the massive benefits coming to games.
We already know what we are getting, we just don't know what doors will open up soon, but so far Titanfalls is one of them.
@Infamous-assassin:
At least HolyDuck looks more intelligent in the avatar than the comment!
How many people actually buy music cds now?
Those used media stores are all slowly dying.
Your consumer right hasn't been taken away, it just changed and we all are slowly accepting it.
Steam is technically the digital leader, and PS+ is pushing all digital more than you can imagine.
You may say, I'm getting all these games for very cheap, but Sony is saying we are luring all these consumers into digital future.
That is the reality of it, and let's just hope that when the digital future is on full force, somebody will ...
@DragonKnight:
No, the awards for the games are awarded by a third party that looks at all the games, and decides.
So no, Harrison doesn't need to go to other booth. Others has done the work for him!
"Even if it's true, who cares? The pre-order numbers are saying that people are more interested in the PS4 and its games anyway."
So what official pre-order number do you have? Real source please?
@black0o:
Clearly you are trying to mislead and spread FUD!
Of course the Xbox One has low level API. No one in their mind slaps on the world most commonly used graphics API and doesn't take into account performance on something as common as a console.
Low level access is the name of the game for consoles, and has always been. That is how you extract max performance.
This is the stupidest conversation I have seen in a lon...

@Haules:
Gamers don't care about any of that to be fair. They only care about games to play!
I hope MS never releases a Kinectless bundle as to at least give Kinect a fair shot at getting it's potential explored.
Don't want Kinect, go PS4!
@pyrmaidshead & mewhy32:
The fact of the matter is, only hardcore and niche gamers pre-order. You really have to wait until people get it in their home and word of mouth spreads, and marketing to inform the mainstream consumer.
If MS is hugely successful at widening th...
This doesn't explain why you need twice the space i.e. 72GB just to play a game that is only 36GB?
This is completely backwards and makes no sense.
Somebody explain?
I got both an Xbox One and PS4 reserved. Deciding on the PS4, but definitely keeping the Xbox One.
Games wise, I'm going all digital for instant switching so no pre-order of games for me.
I never really had a red ring, but did sell an Xbox 360 that shortly after did red ring.
I never really experienced game freezing on my PS3, but I didn't use it very often. It is practically pristine.
Consoles in general especially first generation is likely to have some problems. That's a given. If you are in the US, byy it with your credit card and your warranty is doubled up to max 2-years.
Check the terms on your credit card, bu...
Oh Heavy,
Clearly there is far more proof the cloud at work than how awesome the PS4 is and how much needed the GDDR5 is, but you don't question that!
It is proven that PSN has been hacked, so do you question if PSN is secure?
Has anyone shown proof of that?
Yet, you blindly believe them, uh?
I wonder why?
