MS hasn't had a price drop since 2009! Both Nintendo Wii and Sony PS3 had price drops and all are declining!
Put that in perspective and it is clear it is an industry issue i.e. the cycle that happens every generation.
The question is why are people still buying Xbox 360 at the current price?
@Dante112:
Every time Sony starts making a little profit on each hardware, they cut the price to keep up with the Xbox 360 sales. MS hasn't cut their price since 2009!
No, it's 50% more than what Sony is worth!
Sony's market cap is less than $13 billion:

I'm a gamer, but I do NOT JUST care for games. I mean do you consume other forms of entertainment?
I do! I watch TV/movies, listen to music, read a *lot* of books, and so on. I have come to a point where gaming isn't the center anymore, and if a console only offered me games I would be far less likely to buy it.
It's like Smart Phones are no longer *just* used as a phone!
That said, MS has been exceedingl...
Then now you can play in even more rooms! XD
Well let's hope Black List is even better. I really enjoyed SC:Conviction, and didn't like the Splinter Cell: Double Agent as much due to inconsistencies in being detected i.e. it wasn't quite predictable.
@PixL:
How about you give some real proof instead of unsubstantiated rumors where the claimaint never provided the information and neither did you by the way. That just perpetuates incorrect information.

I don't know, it seems the bubble system is working in this case!
I'm assuming you mean upgrade to the hardware, which really isn't how it works. The system hardware is based on the manufacturing cost and selling price, not how much money the "company" got in the bank.
So I doubt there will be much upgrades if any.
Yes, and Steam was hacked!

Now I do agree PC gaming is great, but so are other platforms. I love options and yes, I do have a Steam account with a number of games on it.
I think in Europe, it is new the law to allow you to resell digital items, but don't quote me on it!
The thing with it is, you will get people that claim I never gave out any information, but I got hacked.
Nah it only requires a stupid decision!
@Dark_Overlord
I know people that have are majoring in Computer Science at a major US university (think top 20), yet they use their date of birth as their password. Still do!
True story!!!
It doesn't take personally giving out information that directly leads to attack, it only takes a stupid decision and some leaked information somewhere like the PSN hack (which leaked emails and DoB), LinkedIn (leaked entire password), Yahoo (leaked pass...
I don't know, I think MS is coming out with DVR functionality in the US. It certainly was indications of it, but I have feeling it is delayed and will be rolled into the next Xbox.
Oh, so I must have imagine the Disc Read Error (DRE) on the PS2 that resulted in a lawsuit and was subsequently settled. The affected got a measly $30-40 if they still got the receipt years afterwards. /s
Unfortunately a quick draw of the assumption doesn't equate to truth. Those passwords seems to almost be universally used often on most websites! Also, ones you entered your credentials on your Xbox 360, it keeps a token so you don't have to type in your password again.
Doesn't surprise me that those are the most breached passwords. If I wanted to try and gain an illegitimate account, those are the first ones I try. Next is date of birth!
You can't really say expensive and not compare buying power! It's like saying people in third world countries things games in the US are expensive! No sheit!
I agree!
It's amazing what people have to put up with in other countries. Us Americans are spoiled!
I will be playing Halo for sure and skipping Black Ops, but CoD has other qualities! I personally don't find it stale, but I don't play it day-in day-out for all these years.
My philosophy, if you don't like it, don't play it. It's not like some kind of huge investment.
@Hicken:
I think you two comments here speaks volumes about you:
"I hate Microsoft. Hated them before they entered the gaming arena."
