The first game released is an Xbox 360 exclusive, the later games are in the air.
MS essentially moved the center of the game industry from Japan to the west. Other than the Japanese, the vast majority don't play JRPGs anymore and Japanese gamers are less relevant than ever.
The entire game industry on console is now shooters with a sprinkle of sports, racing and adventure.
Now handhelds, that is a different story and of course you got Wii who is Japanese! but Nintendo is their own industry.
There is also a Manga app with a lot off free anime if you are into that too on Xbox 360. I watched Macross Plus, I believe it was called, on it a while back.
Why is that even important?
I traded in my regular Xbox 360 (the phat one) for a Gears of War Xbox 360 S and I love. I own a MGS4 gun metal grey PS3 and I love that one too.
Special edition consoles are freaken awesome and I wish there was a Wii version as well.
If a special edition console is offered and you don't want it, don't care for it or can't afford or whatever, don't get it! It's that simple.

I have a feeling it will really be compatible with WinRT with the metro interface, not full Windows 8.
This means the Xbox can share a lot of the Metro style apps.
Anyhow, either way it is pretty damn awesome. I want Windows on my console, because it is so instant now.
I believe this is more of an addiction problem. It's not being an idiot, it's just that he can't help himself.
I know it is hard to believe, but it really isn't that different from people addicted to drugs. He is sick, because normal people don't do that.
@Farsendor1:
"i could be wrong but end war used the same feature with just about any mic."
and was it as good as Kinect?
Just to drive home the point, almost two decades ago I had voice control with a SoundBlaster sound card on Windows 3.1. You would train it to do some stuff, but it is hardly the same.
but yes, I did play EndWar and the voice control was so so on a very limited input. It was like a drill down menu,...
Do you have Kinect?
Because Voice Controlling your team mates are awesome in ME3 on Xbox 360. Importing your save game is also pretty awesome.
Those two things alone handidly outbeat a map on my controller in my opinion.
I will probably get this for Wii U anyhow though, being a ME fan.
I trusted Valve, but this ain't good! Disabling your account and access to your games? Seriously?
This is as bad as EA, and I hope it is wrong!!!
I don't care if it is a rip-off it is damn good!
Besides it does look like it evolved some. More power to Sony!
If it is good, and there is competition bring it on!!! Besides copying is the most sincere form of flattering.
Any MGS5 release will likely be released on next generation consoles. Those hasn't been announced yet, so I doubt a serious release will be announced.
I have used in Gradius, but didn't know it was called the Konami code. I have been gaming since the NES days and consider myself at a minimum an average gamer.
@ps3boyy
LOL!
Bubbles up for the funny comment.
On top of my head: Mass Effect, Gears of War, CoD, Halo, StarCraft, Kinect Sports, Wii Sports, Mario Party and Ninja Gaiden 2.
I think dcbronco, has a very good point. The Xbox 360 business is profiting MS hand over fist. Each console sold has provided a profit for years, not to mention accessories, games, DLC and Xbox Live memberships.
On the other hand, Sony has been reducing price on the PS3 to gain market share, but it's pretty much a standstill. Now their gaming division's situation is worsening due to slow PS Vita sales and major contraction on PS3 sales after a price cut.

That's a $22 discount pre-launch on Uncharted 3!
Now, squirrel away and go find another reason. Hint: they are great games.
The idea of awarding something is pretty old and predates Insomniacs existence.
I would like to be rewarded with a platinum, but dislike the level up system and the excessive breaking up trophies to bronze, silver, gold and platinum on PSN. It's excessive and unnecessary.
The ideal system would be the simple achievement type scoring combined with a platinum like award. Simple is good in my opinion.
It has nothing to do with SmartGlass.
There are two patents:
1. to do depth mapping of the environment using a mobile kinect
2. to edit movies using Kinect. It's a little unclear what the 3D prop making is about though.

I think putting a demo is free and in fact a requirement for XBLA.
Nintendo is new, so they don't even know the cost and don't have a real "online centric customer base" yet. However, it would not surprise me if Sony charged for PSN on PS4.
