After thorough research, a "High speed HDMI cable" is not enough to take full advantage of the Series S. Microsoft should have went with the "Premium High Speed HDMI cable" to support HDR and 120 fps.

Spelunky is definitely a top tier game in my book.
I tried to get my son started on the classics, but he was largely uninterested. Though he did enjoy Donkey Kong Country on the SNES Classic. He really took to Mario Odyssey quickly, and from there, there was no going back to Super Mario World, and definitely not Super Mario Bros. He will play New Super Mario Bros every now and then, but mostly he's into Minecraft now. He's 6.
@Rachel
Got it.
Like how all Xbox owners support paying to play free games online.
And how all PS4 owners support Sony's censorship of games.
I was old when I found this site. I "grew up" on gamefaqs. Internet warriors don't phase me anymore. I actually find it amusing making logical comments and seeing the down votes come in mass.
"If you like and buy their games, you are agreeing with all of Nintendo's decisions bro..."
I really have no idea if this is sarcasm or not.
@Zhipp
Despite Microsoft's poor messaging, the $200 One S is going to miss out on a whole lot of games that will be available on the $300 Series S.
Edit: Replied to the wrong comment. Oh well.
Because the Switch is weaker than the PS4? Outside of Nintendo's own games, most games released on the Switch were also released on the PS4, in some cases, it came to the PS4 years before it came to the Switch. I expect the new significantly more powerful consoles will slow down Switch sales, especially since the casuals will probably find a 300$ Series S more appealing than a 300$ Switch.
No one talks about how the retailer is a small game store that was selling products it never knew it could have. It's definitely no Best buy or GAME.
I don't agree with their decisions, but I like their games.
It's okay to point out the good with the bad. I'm digging that Series S price point, that's low enough for me to be a day one buyer. Normally, I'd wait a couple of years for some solid exclusives. But... if PS5 Digital comes in $350 or lower, then that's going to win out for me, and Series S can come later.
I'll get the beefy version later on after some price cuts or maybe even wait for the mid gen refresh.
(I bet she doesn't.)
Xbox should just take the vehicle approach. Xbox 20 (for 2020), Xbox 25 (for 2025). Doesn't get much simpler than that.
Wii and Wii U was/still is terrible.
Xbox one/series X/S is also terrible, possibly more so, because of the similar sounds of X/S.
New / 3DS / 2DS is the worst of them all.
No one wants to just keep it simple like PlayStation. Everyone else has to try something unique, which results in nothing more than confusion for the typical consumer.
I was looking into getting Minecraft for my son awhile back, and there were so many 1 star reviews f...
Sorry, @NeoGamer, but that's just not going to be a realistic scenario for the overwhelming majority of consumers.
The Xbox confusion will happen. Assuming the one X / one S are in stores at the same time as the Series S / Series X.
Myself included. Why on earth are they making this collection limited time only? Welp, let me go ahead and pre order then, lol.
Nintendo is lucky that I enjoy their games, otherwise they'd be worse than Xbox.
Me. 💵
My guess is that the games will be sold individually on the eshop after the collection's sale ends.
Well that escalated quickly.
I'm not a moron. But I am a cheap bastard. 🤷
(btw, my 4k TV was < $300)
