Even if you could only pick one, good times can be had on every console. So yes, everyone wins.
I have all 3. I actually prefer the Switch pro controller the best. But yes, if given the option between PS4 and Xbox for a game, I'll go with Xbox because of the controller.
Honestly don't understand why the various consoles don't have controllers with symmetrical sticks and asymmetrical sticks. Why force someone into a configuration they don't want?
Theres always been only a handful of generation exclusives for the first couple of years. Won't be any different here. I'm excited about the SSD tech but not enough to camp out at a store. I'll wait until I can comfortably order one online.
Xcloud is awful without a 5 ghz or wired connection. Not a chance of being preferred over the Switch for handheld play.
I will always prefer asymmetrical sticks. I wish they had an asymmetrical stick variant.
The fact that it's "always an option" reinforces my statement.
I'm sure they lost plenty of sales from the bad publicity.
^ Exactly why the gaming industry would likely collapse without consoles.
False. Just a vocal minority on all counts. The overwhelming majority of people don't ride or die for a political party, nor a console, nor a streaming subscription, and while many people support a team, they mostly aren't offensively toxic towards others.
Nothing "stops" them, but the likelihood of doing so is far less, since it won't break. And since it's not portable, it's also more likely that there will be one shared console instead of having one per gamer.
This is more of an apples to apples comparison than you might think. The Nintendo Switch being portable, it is highly likely for a single household to have purchased multiple units. It's also highly likely for a household to have purchased multiple 360s due to the rrod.
I remember my parents watching my nephew (their grandson) playing GTA III with horrified faces.
"So, grandson, you're just gonna keep on hitting that dead cop with a bat?"
The game supports two modes on Series S.
1440p/30fps
900p/60fps
I wonder what would happen if you were playing right before a power outage. Will the data have made it to the SSD? How old would the data be?
Not a modder, but what would stop Sony from taking this patch as is and putting it through the proper quality assurance stuff that Sony typically uses when any other developer submits their patch to Sony?
EDIT: After reading the article, the title is incredibly misleading. The article sounds more like a form of blackmail. "If you don't give me what I want then this is what I'm going to do"
That aside, if indeed the creator of the patch ...
I bought the original when Curse of the Moon 2 came out. I've been waiting for performance improvements for Ritual of the night, but it sounds like they never came, so I just bought Curse of the Moon instead. I'll be picking up #2 at some point in the future.
Just deal with it.
I don't think GameStop cares which console you own, as long as you pre order all of their games and buy their used games for $5 off retail price. And don't forget those extended warranties, wouldn't want to "put the fate of your game in God's hands" (actual quote from GameStop employee)
Yeah, let's keep with the same story of options are bad.
