Sometimes combining everything into one neat package is more than just "marketing". See the Switch, it doesn't do anything revolutionary if you look at its features individually. However, if you put them all together, you have something that is very appealing to a lot of people.
Yes, smart delivery is more and better than cross buy. But I don't think Microsoft is forcing smart delivery on anyone, it's up to developers to choose to enable smart delivery on their games. Microsoft will likely include it on all of their first party games (for the near future at least). As for third party games, we'll have to wait and see.
2021 at the earliest.
You haven't missed out on much. I bought into it all the way through black / white. Then I decided enough was enough. I look forward to Temtem's console release.
Games really are the only thing that matters. Get the console you want when it has the games you want. I never jump into a console gen until at least 2 years in. (Only exception being the Switch because I expected the supply to be limited). However, I am considering jumping into the PS5 early though (maybe even early next year) solely because of the SSD. I have limited gaming time already and if the PS5 can made loading screens disappear even for my backlog'd PS4 games, then I'd trade...
Games with accessibility features tend to get high marks for the added inclusive-ness. You may recall the amount of tens that Celeste received because you could speed run it or easy mode it.
Only so much? So with glasses (or contacts), they aren't able to achieve 20/20 vision? Legitimately curious btw.
And glasses/contacts doesn't work for these legally blind individuals?
@SmielmaN, you really just compared climate change to self hatred... Wow.
Maybe the article is only highlighting one store because only one next gen console has confirmed a digital only console?
That said, the store prices are fine as long the digital console is at least $100 cheaper than the disc console.
My 1080p TV is capable of 240 frames. It was also expensive at the time, which is why I haven't replaced it with a 4k TV.
When consoles become PCs then consoles get PC problems.
"Why does my game keep crashing?"
"Sorry, apparently it just doesn't work on the Series C."
I have a 1080p TV, but if the cheaper version will be the difference between a locked 60fps, and an inconsistent 60fps (or 30 fps), then I would get the series x.
They should follow the Playstation / Nintendo direct format and show lots of game play from a variety of games, with minimal talking heads.
Imagine if GTA San Andreas was released now...
Fact. Most of them aren't gamers.
Your post is halfway correct. There are lots of privileged heads in the sand on this site. But this game is not racist, so the outrage at legitimate African masks are not justified.
People complain that we have no black characters in game, and then we get some black characters and now it's bad because they have African masks. /facepalm.
GTA V Remastered version 5. GTA V is trying to challenge Street Fighter 2 for the most versions.
Donkey Kong 64 was definitely a top tier N64 game. I think I played Banjo Tooie once and never again. But I also wasn't able to finish Banjo Kazooie until after it was re released on Xbox 360.
