Bad argument. Sony 1st party developers are clearly superior to xbox 1st party developers. They could probably make PS4 games look better than Xbox Series games.
You forget the most important point of an Xbox/PS handheld. Simplicity. Turning on the handheld and everything just works. Not having your graphics settings get messed up with every driver update. Not having to google "why is X game glitching on my handheld?"
This is getting moved to the top of my wishlist.
I have a pretty sizable physical collection and I 100% expect it all to go to waste after I die. Probably will end up in a pawn shop or on ebay. I doubt my children (grand children?) will care at all about my PS1 collection when the PS15 is around.
It's not like your account just stops working when you die. Include your email, account id, and password in the will (including the password to your email) and your survivors should have no problem using your games.

True, but for any dev already targeting Switch or low end PCs running Steam, it isn't a huge lift to add in those xbox consoles. But those extra xbox configurations definitely make it harder to develop an xbox game than a PS5 game.

Indies are in a bit of rough spot right now. They definitely do much better on Steam or Switch than any of the big boy consoles.

It doesn't matter hiw popular the Playstation handheld is if it shares the same library as the PS5. It just brings more people into the ecosystem and provides them with more ways to play their games.
Adding Nintendo and PC customers is the best way to increase sales and long term success. Not going to get that from Xbox.

I'm sure there are a subset of gamers who may buy the latest remaster who happened to skip out on the previous remasters. 18 year old gamers today were probably 10 years old during the previous remaster. Makes sense for them to start with the latest one.
