FF16 is a very good action game.
GTA 6 probably won't be on PC until after PS6 has arrived.

Now if Sony had a contract where you got the PS5 pro for 15$ per month as long as you subscribed to PSN Plus for 3 years at the monthly sub rate.
That would be more comparable.
You can't really compare spending 0-30$ per month for a 2-3 year contract vs spending 700$ up front with one payment.
Most people don't spend 700$ up front for a phone. They get it bundled into the monthly price for their cell service and usually at a discount in exchange for a years long contract.
Developers shouldn't be forced to cater their games to a wide audience. If they want to target a very specific audience, then they should be able to do that. Not every game has to be for everyone.
Additionally, most songs aren't done by one person. It's usually a team of people that produce a song, so that 0.05% is getting split between multiple people. Everyone involved with the production of that song.
0.05% of profits is insane? And yall wonder why CEOs get richer while the workers get poorer.
Let's say Rockstar offered him a percentage. Let's say that Rockstar dedicated 5% of its budget to the in game music.
Let's say GTA 6 includes 100 different songs.
Rockstar could hypothetically offer him 0.05% of profits, so when they profit 1 billion dollars, each song would have earned 500,000 dollars.
I'm not aware of any dei associated with the game, but... that's not the issue. With or without it, the game would have failed anyway.
It will be backwards compatible with the Switch not with any other consoles before that.
I suspect PS6 will also be backwards compatible with PS5.
Pro devices have never been mass market.

Hopefully not. Just make a portable PS5 / PS6. The beauty of the Switch, Steam Deck, and PS Portal is that you can play the same games you normally play on a TV but in your hands.
As a developer, memory leaks are a pain to find. I wish them luck.

Honesty, I can see PC extending its reach. Any game that isn't AAA seems to be selling best on PC these days. And while we don't have sales of Black Myth for PS5, we do know that it sold far more on PC than on PS5.
Good point. My ps3 disc drive died and it immediately became an all digital console for me.
