Don't forget to mention the price in the ads! People will want to know they are going to be spending $350-$400 for the handheld, a game and memory......

Who cares where it is? That series isn't relevant and I think Valve is the most overrated developer in the business. They use a horribly outdated engine and put out mini games like Portal as a full release.
This is the drawback to putting out a ton of exclusives, but most of which aren't really doing well. You spend all this money and you get nothing in return.
I didn't like the demo for Twisted Metal, but if I had it pre-ordered, I would cancel it. How in the world are they going to support it now?
Maybe if some of the people here who claim "day one buy!" actually bought those games, there wouldn't be so many closings lately.
Sony is trying desperately to gain some more market by appealing to more then just gamer's. The original NES was the Nintendo Entertainment System because at that time people were weary of gaming consoles.
1.Sony wants to distance themselves from the hack
2.Sony wants a bit of a re-brand like Microsoft did
3.Sony wants to appeal more towards casuals and non gamer's
4.Sony wants to start fresh with their old people and look more inviting toward...
It's priced so high because per usual Sony stuffed the thing with a majority of things it didn't really need. I mean I can see the need for a new handheld, but all that tilt and stuff is added cost that people wouldn't have missed.
They should have tried to price it under $200. I agree that it's an interesting piece of hardware, but by the time you buy one and a game and a memory unit, your at like $400. That's too much IMHO.

I remember the failed PS2 hard drive. Talk about HUGE BOMB. That thing tanked worse than the Sega 32X.
As a legend on the PS2 version, I have to say that it's too little too late as far as SWBF3 is concerned. If anyone here ever played competitively on the PS2 you'll know what I mean. The game had such a tight knit community.

The whole reason I love console gaming is because I can kick back in my recliner and play some games. Sitting at a desk doesn't appeal to me in the least. I have to sit long enough at work.
Which is a huge reason I hate PC gaming as well.
This is just in response to rumor and speculation. I could definitely see an online pass for all the consoles and all the games next generation, but I am pretty certain we wont see no used games whatsoever.
Are you serious? Aren't we on God Of War 4 now? I personally think Gears Of War is one of the best new IP's this generation. Alan Wake is no slouch either. Crackdown was more of a reboot.
Lost Odyssey was also an amazing game, cant forget the Microsoft published original Mass Effect, which is still my favorite for the actual RPG elements.

720 is what it'll be. You cant call it the Xbox 3 because the PS4 will be coming out soon after and you don't want to sound obsolete.
If you simply name it something like Trinity then it might confuse "some" consumers, kind of like there's an Xbox Kinect as a peripheral, you wouldn't want people thinking it's an add on, you don't want to confuse people. That's why it's pretty obvious that it's going to the Xbox 720.

I found him kind of funny on the Fox show "Til Death" with Brad Garret. He was on the first season a few times and was a lot funnier there then he ever has been on the commercials I've seen him in.
Campaign is terrible and the online is filled with vehicle whores and campers who lay prone in bushes.....fail indeed.
Why not just play Resistance on your PS3 and save a couple of hundred dollars?
The funny part is that all I heard last year was how Sony had all these great exclusives, Microsoft had nothing and then Sony had a price drop and Microsoft didn't match it. So everyone thought Microsoft messed up. Turns out they did the smart thing and had their best year ever and with the more expensive product.

LOL, none of the Resident Evil games have been horror games. They are all just a laugh, at least the last one let me play through it co-op with a friend, which is always a nice touch.
