Conviction did quite well for the Xbox 360, hopefully at E3 they announce it as a console exclusive again. I liked the direction that Conviction took. Hopefully we get a new one later this year.
Conviction 2, Halo 4, Forza Horizon, Witcher 2, Crimson Dragon, Steel Battalion, Fable The Journey, could be a very solid year for the Xbox 360.
Bad controller that had stupid numbers on it. Also, it was expensive. The thing was hard to program for as well, true if you added up all the processors it was 64 bit, but at the time developers didn't know how to take advantage of it.
They had a flying game that looked a lot like Starfox, but Starfox looked and played better on the Super Nintendo.
I'm sure people will worry about what's in GT6 in 5,6 or 7 years, when its closer to coming out.
Different genres completely, Halo 4 is Halo. Assassins Creed 3 looks fantastic though. I'll be buying both for sure, but I've had Halo 4 pre-ordered since last year, where as I only just now pre-ordered AC3 because I wanted that cool metal case.
AAA titles definitely need publishers. Most publishers foot the bill for advertising as well. Just because this guy gets a couple of million dollars doesn't mean everyone can stop looking for publishers.
A couple of million, while a lot to me or you, is pretty insignificant when it comes to most games.
The Mass Effect series is definitely in my top 3 as far as new IP's this generation is concerned.
That being said, EA's buying of Bioware has been a bad thing, they are going in a different direction and I almost call ME3 Gears Of Effect, because its so much like Gears Of War in the way it looks and plays now.
ME1 is obviously still the best game in that series, but I like all of them in one way or another.
Good deal, makes a lot of sense. The bigger fanbase for Mass Effect is obviously going to be on the Xbox 360, plus ME3 is Better With Kinect.
He should reveal what his favorite overdone, long, boring, confusing cutscene is.
Why would Microsoft be "forced" to show off new hardware? Aren't they coming off their best year ever for the Xbox 360? Which saw them number 1 world wide?
Also, Kinect is selling great, around 20 million units sold thus far, could be over 30 million by the end of the year.
I wouldn't expect Microsoft to announce any new hardware this year.
I'd expect a price drop, which will push sales even higher for both the Xbox 360 ...
There is nothing to fall for, millions of people like the Fable games for what they are. Fable has a rich and interesting world and Peter did a great job with those games.
Idiots try to blast the guy for having some big dreams and not always delivering, but he still tried.
Promising big things and failing to deliver all of them should be right at home here at N4G, most people here are PS3 fans, which wrote the book on promises that failed to deliver.
"We could have done a better job"
That is an understatement of epic proportions.
They were obviously after the casual gamer just like Microsoft and Nintendo, but Nintendo and Microsoft never said the word casual or core, they just said they are for "gamer's".
Sony starts patching in Move support for games that are better with the controller. There was no unique Move only title to draw anyone in.
Why bother ri...
Killzone 4
Killzone 5
Killzone Vita
I have a feeling Sony could rename their online ourcustomersarestupid Network and the people here would be saying how great a name it was.
SMDH.....
He's going to open a new studio! One he cant get kicked out of! He's also going to make games that don't require online passes! oh and he wants to make plenty of Iphone games too! You go David! You go!
Mass Effect is one of the best RPG's I've played, the first one that is. The second one was fun and well done, but it lacked what made me like the first one so much.
When companies go commercial and try to get more people to buy the games these things usually happen. I still have some faith in Bioware though.
Way to flood the market Capcom. Your turning Resident Evil into the CSI of video games. What's next? Resident Evil Wrestling? or maybe Resident Evil Football?
Just get it on the Xbox 360, no issues there. I've put 125 hours into it thus far. Fantastic!
The demo played great on the Xbox 360, hopefully these issues are due to the porting and not a trend that I'll see on the 360 version.
I don't even know what nfc is! So I'm going to say nope. Give me HD Nintendo games, at a price of $300 and I'll happily give Nintendo my money.
Consoles are worth $300, handheld's...not so much.
The Chun-Li Street Fighter movie was awful, cant believe I sat through that crap...
The first Mortal Kombat movie was actually very good, great memories of that one.
