Ughhh, this is newsworthy? SMDH...
Lets all continue to kiss EA's butt though, I mean Battlefield 3 right? That was going to kill off COD and the evil Activision!
EA is hands down the worst publisher in the gaming industry. Online passes, Origins, they shut down servers quickly to their games, forcing people to buy the newest versions to play online.
Yet people saw them as betters to Activision, instead of a yearly Battlefield, we'll see yearly Medal Of Honor, Battlefield, Medal Of Ho...
I had the Xbox 360 Collectors Edition from the get go. We all kind of figured it had legs as a game franchise, seeing as how it did get some attention and awards like Time Magazine GOTY.
We also just had the American Nightmare arcade title which is doing pretty well.
Last I heard Remedy was working on a full Alan Wake 2 for the next Xbox.
Great franchise with nowhere to go but up.
This is a pretty good hire by Microsoft. This guy is a lot more low key than Peter was.
Phil made some great choices while at Sony, but also made some stinkers that cost Sony greatly out of the gate.
I always think of that "How To Kill Your Brand" song from Youtube where they use excerpts from Phil Harrison sounding like an idiot.
Those are three of Kinect's best games. I'd say Kinect Sports and Dance Central are the others worth mentioning.
UPDATE: A representative from Epic Games has reached out to us to inform that they are not planning to announce a new Unreal Tournament title.
Not even worth checking out. Unreal Tournament was okay, but the offline was horrid. If they do ever make a new version of the game, hope they make a playable campaign at least.
World At War would like to disagree with you, there was indeed a beta for that game.
The problem with a beta is, it can end up costing a company money.
That is bad business, and when you sell like COD sells, you don't want anything to get in the way of that.
Honestly, a beta wouldn't do much for the game anyway. They are usually used to flush out exploits and such, but the problem is that so many people play the COD games, its easy t...
I'd say Halo is probably the biggest exclusive out there. Mario is fine, Galaxy just passed 5 million sold, which is great. That being said, the Halo universe is probably the largest.
Halo fans are a breed all their own and the games are a ton of fun that take a lot of skill, unlike Call Of Duty or so many copy cat wannabe games out their right now.
When people make a FPS, its always named "The Halo Killer" for a reason.
I think...
I think its funny when people say Halo is milked, this is the fourth game to feature Master Chief since 2001. That isn't milked.
I'm sure God Of War 4, 5, 6 and 7 and the super duper collection from PSP isn't milking at all. Also, 4 Uncharted games in 5 years is fine!
Hypocrisy is lame, if its okay for one franchise then its fine for all.
Halo is a fantastic franchise that millions of people love, as long as people want it, they s...
Kinect Star Wars in at number 3, that game is going to sell very well.
Kind of surprised the Xbox 360 version of Bioshock 3 is so far ahead of the PS3 version, especially since they are cramming Move support and 3-D down our throats.
Halo 4 already in the top 5 and with a ton of months left before its launch. Cant wait!
I think he underestimates how badly people want to play Nintendo's first party games in HD.
If this thing is priced right (between $299-$349) I don't see how it can fail. It might not end up being as powerful as the Xbox 720 or the PS4, but the differences will be minor in comparison to this current generation.
I cant wait to play a new Pikmen game in full HD, same with Zelda and Mario.

Didn't we see something about Nintendo and the Wii U being able to use Unreal Engine 4? Its probably them, but I bet the Xbox 720 has been getting its fair share of games developed with it too. Gears Exile most likely.
Time to trade it in, maybe get a good start for the Wii U.
Xbox 360 users aren't upset with the amount of Xbox 360 exclusives, the PS3 fanboys are.
It was made perfectly clear in 2011 what people want to play and what they want to play it on. Exclusives are important at the start of a generation, not so much near the end.
All Kinect has done is prove everyone wrong, everyone on forums like these anyway. I remember hearing how it was going to be the next 32X and how it would flop ect... and so on and so forth. <...
Boo Hoo, everyone seems to be D-riding Bioware lately, they only just came out with the third game in a epic trilogy. All three of the games have scored well and have sold well.
Haters gonna hate I guess, who really cares where they got inspiration for Tali's likeness? Maybe they saw that picture and thought it was perfect for her. It fits though, she looks great.
I'm not going to complain, Bioware has given me over 200 hours of fun on those three ga...
This makes a ton of sense, a lot of the XBLA titles are on par and in some cases better then some of the full retail games. Look at Alan Wake's American Nightmare, it was amazing, would have loved the chance to get some more Gamerscore in it.
There is a difference between a Kinect game and shovelware. Kinect Sports, Dance Central, The Gunstringer, Haunt, Fruit Ninja, Steel Battalion and Crimson Dragon are games.
Hole In The Wall and Carnival Games are what I'd consider shovelware.
As for Fable, those games sell millions upon millions, so obviously there are people who care about the franchise still.
Didn't realize Halo 4, Witcher 2 and Kinect Star Wars were multiplat games now...guess you learn something new everyday.
The Mass Effect series is one of the top new IP's this generation. You just cant please everyone all the time. Also, its very hard to top a first game like the original Mass Effect game.
You could argue that Bioware tried to make Mass Effect more mainstream, but they didn't change THAT much. We have to remember that these companies want to reach as many people as possible and sometimes that means they have to change a few things around. Purists might not like it all,...
As long as he stays away from Xbox Live, I'm fine with whatever he wants to do. He had a lot to do with the way PSN is now, which isn't competitive as far as I'm concerned. It was too much focus on other aspects.
He made some decent decisions about games though, hope he can talk a bit at E3.
Mostly I'll remember he had lines in the "How To Kill Your Brand" music video from Youtube.
I love the crazy Ken quote at the ...
