Wow, Sony threatened Gamespot in the past. I know Microsoft usually gets blamed with the conspiracy theory stuff, turns out Sony was actually trying to force them to give high ratings to their games. Pretty low......
I love Achievements! In fact I'd say it was a double edged sword, I don't play older games now or games with difficult Achievements. I like to get at least 500-600 from a game.
Its one of the reasons I don't play the Wii as much as I probably would like to. There just isn't any form of program like Achievements.
Yea, I'm sure Bioware is in a real state of panic, some nerds weren't happy with the ending to a space video game. I hope Bioware isn't too busy counting their millions from their best selling video game ever to do something....

It was NFL Fever. Those NFL games were really top notch back on the original Xbox. Back before the dark times, back before EA.
Anyway, Manning would be great! Its obvious he was the Colts, I think the Broncos have a better core than the Colts did, so he could do very well. They would need to tailor the offense to him though, he is basically his own offensive coordinator.

They announced at the last E3 that it was the start of a new trilogy. I like the darker look of the new game, I loved the older Halo games, but lets face it, they weren't the best at story telling and we knew next to nothing about the Chief himself.
Also, in the comparison to Star Wars. The original trilogy is fine now, 5 being the best of those particular movies, but 4 was a sleeping pill and 6 was crazy stupid. Ya, lets have Ewoks save the day!

This is idiocy. Why would someone want a game store to close int he first place? Isn't the economy bad enough?
There are two game stores in my town, Play And Trade and Gamestop. These are the only types of stores that you can go into and pre-order games or new consoles and not have to put the full price down ahead of time.
People complain about Gamestop because they rip you off when you want to trade in a game, well news flash..DON'T TRADE IN YOUR GAM...

Milo was just a tech demo, in the end it didn't have to be a little kid, it could have been anything. People here are so quick to bash the guy, but when we see a tech demo for that Cara thing, its the most wonderful thing in the world right?

They make it out like everyone hated the ending and that just isn't true. Didn't the game sell over 3 million copies? Yet less than 20k were angry enough to petition or something.
Its a game, we've mostly gotten 100's of hours from them and I'm fine with that.

It'll be pirated because PC gamer's are cheap as hell. I've always looked at PC gaming as the slums of the gaming market. Sure there are a few people that have a killer rig, but 99% of people on PC don't have anything that great and just cant afford games.
All the pirating is evidence favors that.

They aren't as important as in the past. I believe they are most important at the start of a console generation, because that is when we all decide which one we'll be getting right away.
