If this is true...I just kind of wish their wouldn't be as much copy cat cookie cutter BS going on in the industry.
Kind of easy to do solid PR when you work with incredible technology.
I am not so sure I would believe that EA sold 5 million in one week. We will have to wait and see as far as MW3 goes, but since they are expecting 12 million in sales with that fairly quickly, I kind of doubt BF3 did much.
I think a lot of people are wishful thinking when it comes to a game knocking COD down a peg.
Is it just me or are those numbers a little disappointing? I didn't buy the game because Battlefield isn't my thing, but 3.5 doesn't seem like it lived up to the hype, we will have to wait a week to see, but I don't think it took anything out of what MW3 will do.
Wow..I'm surprised at this. Game Informer just seems to hate Sonic. I'm still getting this game, I loved the demo and I think the whole game will really be a great experience, especially if your a Sonic fan from back in the Genesis/Dreamcast days.
Look at Halo go! I cant believe it's close to 500k in pre orders. That is just a testament to the Halo community and the revolutionary game that the original Halo was.
It's nice to see Sonic Generations on there as well. Kinect Star Wars creeping too.
I have MW3, Halo CE, Skyrim, Sonic Generations, Mass Effect 3 all already paid for.

I kind of prefer Left 4 Dead 1, nothing better then playing that with some friends over XBL. The fact that you actually get the chance to play as a zombie gives the game an edge. It is very unique.
Don't go all in with "lead version". Straight up the Xbox 360 version will probably end up under 80 on Metacritic, which is a lot worse then even Bad Company 2.
Traditionally the Modern Warfare branded COD games score very, VERY well.
I think people have to be disappointed with the low console scores, considering Bad Company 2 was so solid.
Why is it that Sony fans are so insecure about their games and console of choice?
If your a GT person then the fact that some people prefer Forza shouldn't effect the fun you have with your game of choice. Same for Forza fans.
I think all this squabbling is pointless. When it comes to which is the "better game", the only way to really judge is pure opinion. Unless you go by something like Metacritic.
What's so funny about that? I enjoyed that game immensely. I think it was a great first attempt at a full game. I loved it, I know it was hit or miss, but I hope they continue putting out games like that.
Forza 4 is definitely better with Kinect. Love using both for that game, same with Child Of Eden, I prefer the Kinect controls.
I like that Microsoft is mixing things up with Kinect now, I am looking forward to the added Kinect options on a game like ME3, I had trouble with getting my squad to go where I wanted, so Kinect will allow much easier control of your squad.

Not sure why people bag on Rare now, they did some fine work in the past, but this generation has been there most successful for certain.

I think I see a drop in production and some rushed games since they are owned by EA now, so I guess I can see some people being angry with them. I much preferred there work on games like KOTOR, Jade Empire and the original Mass Effect, since then there is a slide, but I definitely don't hate them.

If something like that were true, then Halo Reach wouldn't have sold so well. Bungie was already slated to leave and most likely develop for multiple consoles.
I think the game was the only option pretty much when the PS3 launched, so people bought it, then the sequel was kind of bad, and by the time the third game launched there are so many better games for PS3 that not many paod attention.

Casual gamers outnumber core gamers by an incredibly large number. I also think core gamers can actually get into dance games and still be able to like their shooters and things like that.
I bought Dance Central 2 and love it, the ladies love it and so everyone is happy. I get hot ladies dancing their asses off at my place on a nightly basis.
