It's a very niche game, it's not really in a genre that reaches out and grabs at people.
As much as I'll get disagrees for this, Uncharted 3 is and should not be in the running for GOTY. It wasn't as good as the second game. Batman Arkham City is this years Uncharted 2, Skyrim is amazing and Zelda Skyward Sword is the best Zelda since OOT.
Gears 3 should be on any list of contention with Uncharted 3, but since both are a sequel to a sequel, I kind of doubt they get any serious consideration.
Skyrim, Batman Arkham City or Zelda for sure.
Exclusives aren't as important as N4G people would have you believe. While the PS3 has some nice games, as does the Wii and 360, it's the 3rd party multiplatform games that usually push the Xbox 360's here.
People love playing the better versions on the 360, sometimes there is no difference, but with games like Call Of Duty, Skyrim ect... There is a huge difference.
It also didn't hurt to have a 4 gig Xbox 360 bundled with Kinect for $199 with...
Damn that is impressive as hell. Six years into it's life cycle and it's selling better then when it first launched!
This tells me a few things,
A.Exclusives are only a fanboys argument.
B.Microsoft has done a heck of a job, this is without a price drop announcement.
C.Microsoft did the smart thing by not announcing a successor to the 360 this year.
Nintendo could have possibly won the holidays again if they didn't announce...
Meh, there isn't much out there to surprise me these days. I'm more or less looking forward to Mass Effect 3 and the hopeful announcement of the next Xbox sometime early next year.
Sony seems to be the only current company actually trying to put out new exclusives right now, which tells me they are far off from a new console. I like the current consoles a lot, but I could really use some fresh hardware.
I'm sorry but your kind of ignorant to what's going on. Cliffy has had success on both consoles, but wanted to leave his mark on the Xbox 360 long before it launched. He came to Microsoft and said he wanted to make the Xbox 360's "Halo 2" and he has done so.
He also went to the Kinect launch in New York and even Tweeted it was unpaid and he went spur of the moment. He also has stated a ton of times that he doesn't get paid to endorse Kinect.
...
I still see a 360 price cut soon, they will want to get a last huge sales push with the current Xbox 360 before they start selling the next Xbox late next year. I think they will still sell the current 360's for a few more years though.
$199 for the 250 gig Xbox 360's and $99 for the 4 gig Arcades seem about right to me. That makes way for the $349 and $399 Xbox 720 models next year.
They could have had 3rd part studios work on games in private. Do you think Microsoft or Sony is going to announce 3rd party games for their next consoles without some sort of agreement in place? They work on them in private for a while before we the public are made aware of them.
Nintendo could have had a much bigger Holiday had they just held off and waited.
Look at Microsoft, there is a ton of speculation that they will release a console next year, just li...
This sucks for those trying to play on the PS3. I think everyone should be able to play this fantastic game trouble free.
I know a lot of people who love Bethesda made games, but always wait a little while before buying them just because there always seem to be issues like this with them.
Why the heck would I want to play modded maps? I want to play maps that the company makes to be totally honest.
I don't use a PC, I take it your a PC gamer? I am not and I don't like PC gaming. I use consoles, always have, always will.
I spend my money on what I wish, I bought the Hardened Edition and got Elite with it, if they are throwing a ton of DLC at me, then all the better. The game stays fresh with DLC and maps, so I'm all for it.

Actually the PSP remakes aren't selling well at all.
I'm saying from the start. Also, it's not sold out for in store pick up, I just checked. Anytime something can get reduced to $25 then you know they overestimated the amount of people that want it.
Means the money I spent on Elite isn't wasted. I looked at Elite all along as a "season pass" just like everyone else seems to be doing lately.
Only fools that don't know what they are talking about think Elite is a paid subscription for stats, the stats are free as are a lot of Elite options, only the DLC is something that doesn't come for free.
I'm glad they are actually supporting their game for a change, IW in the past had horr...
This is just UK, it's still in the top 10 in the United States. It's probably sold over a million copies world wide by now. I love it, definitely worth the $40 price tag.
Also, asking if Halo is dead because a remake isn't selling as good as a true new game is asinine. It'd be like saying, God Of War is dead because those PSP ports to the PS3 sold poor, so I guess God Of War is dead?
Halo 4 is already in the top 10 in pre-orders, it'll pr...
It looks like a solid piece of hardware, but it's too costly for me to purchase at launch.
No offense, but please stop with porting over these types of games in a obvious cash grab.
Nintendo shouldn't have announced the Wii U last year, they should have added another exclusive or two into the US market this year and then announced the Wii U next year when they actually had something to show off, like say the console itself, some real specs and real footage of games being played on it.
They tried to take a much bigger bite then their mouth would allow, they should have solely focused on the 3DS this year and worry about the console next. Just my opin...
I think they overestimated the amount of people that wanted this special edition....
Yea, when Sony runs out of ideas they simply take a pad and paper over to Nintendo and BOOM! new Sony products!
Seriously wouldn't surprise me to hear the new Sony console is called the PS4-U. With hybrid Kinect/Wii U controller options.
ughhh originality has been lost this generation for the most part.
