It's been 4 years since the last Gears game, if not Gears 6, The Coalition must have something deep in development.
Anyone remember when games had fun physics? It was fun messing around in the original halo games. I hope there's some games that will keep the fun video game feel to it.
Watchdogs and The Division are the same to me. The graphics and physics to both reveals are almost unmatched til this day.
I remember a game trailer from about 10 years ago that was very similar, and after a few delays it turned out to have average graphics, and not the photorealistic graphics it advertised. Can't remember the name of it tho, just remember it being in a similar abandoned warehouse like this.
I believe the uncanny valley effect has a little to do with it. The realisticish characters with animations that haven't made the same jump, makes the difference more noticeable than when the characters weren't as realistic.
Are the NFTs fun to use, are they just glorified skins or are they just ways to create a lucky millionaire. Sure dlcs aren't resellable but you pay for the experience of playing new maps or new parts of the campaign.
A couple months ago there was a report that it switched over from ue4 to ue5. Maybe they have plans to do so in the future like Fortnite did. It's still a great looking game either way, maybe not graphics of the year, but still functional.
Before Halo infinite released, they had a documentary and a few blogs on their very own site stating how you can earn the armor without spending money.
I'm on the border of Zoomer/millennial, and yeah I agree, this generation while it has its moments of greatness just doesn't seem to have what the past had. When Bungie was interviewed in the past, investors and shareholders were not at the top of the list for their motivation to create, it was to build the games they wanted to make. I don't like how the only requirement for a celebrity to get famous these days is to be edgy. In the past comedians and musicians didn't need to ...
Haven't played it yet but maybe it uses the abilities or environmental storytelling in a similar way to Bioshock. If we dig deep enough we can say every game is a spiritual successor to every game that came before it.
I just think the whole Crypto/nft is very unnecessary. I don't see how any of it benefits anyone except for scammers.
We hear all the time about Egyptians being whitewashed in movies(even tho Rami Malek is legitimately Egyptian). So let's assume Egyptians were darker than Rami Malek and were just as much as Africans, they had a lot of power during that time, they had lots of slaves from that area and other areas as well. Every single culture had their slavery.
It is further proof that racism against white people doesn't exist. Has anyone tried cancelling or altering white insults? I was watching Gutfeld the other night and he was showing dozens of insults to call white people. And he's right, white people don't care. Calling a white person their equivalent of the N word and they just shrug it off.
Many books like Charlie and the Chocolate factory are being rewritten to make the words appear less insulting even tho it's the same description. I can guarantee you, if you go up to someone fat and tell them they are round in an insulting way it will mean the same thing to them.
As long as they name it round princess, it would be ok. Yeah I'm not sure what's going on. Why they are modifying classic books, why Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben's and many other brands needed to be removed. It seems like all this rebranding doesn't accomplish anything.
Right now the things censoring the media is the "current year" types. The kinds that say that humour was only acceptable in the 60s, therefore it's not ok now. There's always exceptions like SouthPark, or Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle, but a lot of the media is afraid of offending or want to get approval from a very small minority. But yeah those types of Christians are embarrassing as well.
There's always extremes on all sides. Like not all feminists are starting a war with men. There's a very wide range of Christianity, some sections are as strict as something from a Muslim country, and some are very free, to sum it up, there are old testament Christians, mostly pentecostals or southern Baptist the type that really want to let you know you're going to hell if you don't do everything they say, and then there's the new testament Christians, mostly non denomina...
@Papa, 10000% what they should have done. They get new exclusives and still have COD on their console. We've seen what 500 million did with Halo Infinite, but with volume there's a higher chance some of them might be great.
I remember 3 years ago Phil was playing the PD game and said it was coming along good. But he also said the same with every other Xbox game. Right now I just want a good cyberpunk fps or tps. There hasn't been too many good ones lately
