They tried that with sonic boom and 06, it didn't work well. But it really is sad that Mario can make fantastic 3d open world games and the only option for sonic is to be stuck in the 90s, with linear gameplay. I do hope one day they can make the transition one day.
Xbox not dead
Foxtrot, NaughtyDog makes multi and coop games, should we be worried about them as well. Maybe its a good sign considering that multiplayer games need good gameplay mechanics, so if they also throw in a single player without dedication towards creating a new medium that QB was trying to do then it'll be all right.
Exactly, the most powerful computer still can't make Halo 5 look noticeably different in 4K. If I can play Gears 3 on a 480p TV and tell its a generation above Splinter cell than I should do the same when Whatever game is revealed for the Scorpio. I want to be wowed even on a 1080p screen.
It sold over a million with a small install base, and halo/gears/forza are great games so of course they sell.
What I want to see is creative assembly take over Halo for a little while once the master chief saga is over and let 343 create a new ip. It would be nice to see CA create a halo RPG or maybe something comparable to RB6 like what halo odst was going for.

The Xbox one can handle huge open world games, even cell phones can handle the UE4, so if the Devs want to they can make it with the 6.1 TFS first and scale it back to whatever it needs to fit on Xbox one, even if it requires a little outsourcing.

I would like to see it as more of downgrading the xbox 1 version instead of just upgrading the scorpio version, If TLOU2 trailer was all ingame, MS needs to make their games look like the Halo wars 2 cutscenes, and that wont be possible if we dont treat the scorpio as a priority.

In my area we have an entertainmart and movie trading company that sells stuff from every generation, even the N64 and gameboy games and consoles. These are stores that have amazing deals, and should be supported more than they currently are.

Yeah it would be pretty hilarious if they have some type of intro at the beginning of the game summarizing the events of HL3 as if it already came out, or even more hilarious if Gabe attends a convention talking about the success of HL3 and how it ended on a cliffhanger and showing some clips to show the graphical and gameplay differences between 3 and 4, that would make peoples heads explode especially the people on r/glitchinthematrix
I do expect some Fallout 4 type reveals and have some AAA games coming in time for Scorpio, I could be wrong tho, cause even Fallout 4 was hinted at for years through leaks, but even some small budget arcade games like journey or Ori would be welcome.
For what they work on its not huge, and if they have other games to focus on they felt its best to focus on something more proven to work.
