It only feels expensive because everything else is getting expensive and the average wages dont match the inflation, leaving us to have less to spend on games. But yeah if it matches the 90s inflation games would cost like $120 today. What is old might feel new again. A new splinter cell with semi open levels but still having a linear structure (not just one giant open world) that have multiple paths to complete the objective but still have stealth be the main priority would feel fresh, especially with modern graphics and military gadgets .
