I miss GameCube, the last Nintendo console that is actually powerful.
How is this a problem? If people willing to pay $2 per trophy, then be my guest, no one should chase trophies and play games that they don't enjoy in the first place.
It is ok to have games that are 3 hours, but I am leaving a comment to say that they are not and shouldn't be the future.
With that said, I would say 3 hours for a game is way too short. I think the minimum should be at least 8-10 hours. I personally enjoy 30-40 hours long games, or even Horizon Forbidden West's 80+ hours, Ghost of Tsushima 60 hours campaign, and then 400+ hours on the legend MP mode.

Both have engaging story, gameplay wise I prefer Returnal a bit more.

When I draw a bow with the resistance, I know exactly when it is fully drawn without looking at any cue or think about timing. It is only a gimmick because some people WISH it is a gimmick.

It is a rare move to increase the price of existing product, for such an old product as well.
I have been defending it because I was expecting tlou2 mechanic, but if it is mostly the same with only visual upgrade, then I don't know what to say, but I will make my final judgement when the game is out, at worst I skip it, don't need a pitchfork.
And extra $30 for a digital version of the figure? Wtf is that? I can save the image above and get a digital version of the figure.
Digital collectable is just ridiculous, where they can generate trillions of them with no extra cost, it lost all "collect" value.

Honestly, for people that think a game is too long, they can play 15-25 hours and then watch the rest on YouTube.
I would say 15-25 is extremely short for a JRPG.
I prefer RPG to be at least 100+ hours. I spent 80+ hours on action games like Horizon Forbidden West.
I like Nintendo games, but their hardware are so outdated... Buying a switch now is like buying 10 years old tech.
I have PS Plus and Gamepass Ultimate, and my kids mostly just play Minecraft on his switch... kids have a lot more patience than us, they don't switch kids often, cheaper to just buy the games for them.
I personally prefer more games but wait a bit, than less games but day 1.
I like diversity, my favourite genre of games are third person adventure games, which Sony has tons of studios for, it is always good to have talents.
It is either they develop a live service game separately, or they put live service crap in your favourite games, what do you prefer?
The incentive of upgrading to Premium is low right now, I was expecting a bigger push from Sony for a new service, such as more classic games each month for at least a few months to attract new subscribers.
Extra is well worth the money so far though, makes more sense to stay at that tier for now.
Either way, we don't need an article every 30 mins to spread negativity, just pay for what you want to pay.
And I know the games will still be optimized for my PS5 because it is released there first. But if they start doing Day 1... then I would be disappointed.
There are no such thing as "cash grab", if you care enough to pay full price to get it, that means they have priced it right. If you don't think it is worth it, then wait for the price to drop. Sony can only earn as much as what you are willing to pay and no a cent more than that.
I am interested, but I will wait to see what other changes there are to see if it is worth $70.

It is a two edged sword, XBox having that as exclusive is good for the short run, but in the long run, also letting other RPG to grow bigger on PS platform.
Like if CoD is exclusive, some people will buy XBox for CoD and some people will look for alternatives on CoD.
