Is this good or bad for a AAA game?

Eh, even if they don't remaster it, I'm sure we could get full HD or even 4K retextures. Modding communities do amazing stuff!

It's sad that there's so many ungrateful people out their demanding mods that aren't possible on consoles due to using libraries that consoles can't run. So many modders are going out of their way now to use these libraries as a form of DRM to go against these beggars, but I hope the community can improve for the future.
Also, it can't be helped that only PC people can make mods, but I think MS and Sony had to go through quite a bit just to get mods on c...
This game is looking good, but I do worry if the initial price will not see too many sales.

Just, because it can be used for piracy doesn't mean that'll be its sole use.
Can't wait to turn my Wii U into a dedicated ripping machine and just play my games on my PC. Hope I'll be able to convert eShop titles to something Cemu can read so all my digital purchases can be transferred to my PC since we can just download game updates in .NUS format and install them on Cemu.
I love my Wii U collection as well. I'll love My Wii U games even more when I'm playing em' in full 1080P, 4K if I get the hardware in the future, when I rip their into ISO format and play them on Cemu.
Glad I haven't bothered buying any DLC yet. I regret buying F4 day one honestly.

I'm sure the emulator can install patches just fine. There's a tool to download PS3 game patches, so I imagine there will be a way to download Wii U game patches and I'm sure these talented devs can find a way to install them.
Rejoice! Soon I'll be able to stop using my crappy Wii U as a gaming console and instead as a dedicated game ripping machine for my library of games! Can't wait to see how gamepad support works.

This blanket argument again... there's a reason AMD, Intel, and Nvidia releases more than one chip for their respective GPUs and CPUs.
