In other words, lazy devs.
Lazy devs.
Why do console updates either add barebone features that should be there at the beginning or just get rid of homebrew support?
Video games are more important than human life. /s
The game doesn't really look like my cup of tea, but it looks nice and I hope it brings you great joy if you're getting it.
To be honest, I guess around $450-500 would be the sweet spot for a fully 1080P 60FPS PC at med-high settings, but like I said, a PC at that price can pay for itself within half a year. Here's a good starter PC if you've got the money. http://pcpartpicker.com/lis...
I had to look at that game since I didn't know what it was. If it was ported to PC I bet $350-400 worth of parts could run it at higher quality. My steam account is worth over $3400 and I've only spent about $950 on it which means even a $2000 machine would have paid itself off if I would have built one 5 years ago. Not sure why you don't like PC, but freedom over my hobby is a great feeling to have.
Skip both and get a PC.
I think these devs need a refresher course on game development.
I wonder how devs are allowed to release sub par games and not receive any penalty for it. I guess Arkham Knight at least got pulled and told the devs to try again. Even AAA devs are becoming worse than greenlit zero effort indie devs who never leave early access.
Boring! Bring Paper Mario back to its roots!
Boooooo! That's all.
I'll believe it when I see it. That is all.
The free online, the unlimited control options (someone beat Dark Souls with those Donkey Kong drums), cheaper games (the initial startup for PC can be cheaper if you shop around for parts and don't stick to one storefront), freedom in general. No one owns my PC except for me and I'm willing to bet if Steam for example went Activision on us, finding an alternative wouldn't be too hard. We would still have GoG, uPlay, Origin. PC's like a platform that hosts multiple platforms. ...
Don't worry, I think both the scorpio and the PS Pro are dumb and a few steps back for console gaming.
Can I get a in depth explanation as to why my comment got marked as inappropriate?
Because they defeat what consoles are about and that's not having to upgrade the hardware until the next generation.
Will consoles even survive that long?
I'm not until real world gameplay is released.
Emulating Directinput works, but I have experienced issues in games where my computer would see my DS4 controller as two different controllers and screw up everything when I tried to play RetroArch and some other Directinput games. An Xbone controller in Win10 or a 360 controller in Win8 and below are still the better option for Windows users. Not sure about Linux or Mac though.
