Because Sony has nothing to gain from adding BC.
As a PC player I feel for the console people. This is strait up garbage on Bethesda's part.
Why don't they just get their god to remove it?
I bet this is fake. There's no way something at that price can do 4K unless Sony is taking a huge loss.
They mostly need to make sure that these make a profit off hardware, so if the NES mini does well, then why wouldn't they release something at least up to the Gamecube assuming there's a powerful enough SoC solution to pull it off?
Eh, it did better than the Wii U and the Wii U has a very limited backup loader that's still rather hard to setup and use. Blaming piracy might not be the best way to get a company to get their stuff together.
An update that acts as a "key" is a horrible idea though. What about offline users?
I guess I should just end this by saying that I haven't really been trying to convince you personally on which is better than which, but throw around some facts and opinions and with that in mind, encourage people to read up on this stuff yourselves as well. I doubt MrSec84 and myself is 100% accurate since such accuracy is impossible to achieve, so again do your own research and come to your own conclusion.
But the computer parts I showed you is using new parts and is the same price as current consoles and a little better performance wise compared to consoles. It would even out to around $350 and games on PC are normally far cheaper or maybe just by $10. If you're willing to wait for a holiday sale then you can easily see 50-60% off what games are normally. Used PC parts are better than a used console since if one part of the console goes the entire thing is useless, but at least you can rep...
Sorry, I also forgot to mention Moore's Law which is why I think consoles won't last much longer. If computer components reach a point where they can't be made any better though, there won't be cheaper hardware to put inside a console upon its release. It would just be restricted PC with far less features and no ability to upgrade it, instead you have to buy a new unit entirely.

Hardware from this year is better than hardware from 2011 in both price and performance.
I want to say more things so sorry for going off topic from your post, but Neo and Scorpio is not how MS and Sony are going to take on PC gaming which is what they're trying to do. Sony's even trying to keep people from jumping ship to PC gaming. It's funny that a decade ago, PC hardware was far too expensive to match the 360 or PS3 in performance and price, but with today&...
Rare Replay plz.
If it's sold through their Win10 store I forgot the name of then I guess they still make the monz, but I have no reason to get an Xbone now and I'm glad I never planned on it.
If that were true then why is both MS and Sony trying to combat the PC market?
Then give me Rare Replay and Fable II! I don't understand this business strategy, but more games for mah PC!
PC sales are declining?
This makes the Vita's failure even worse.
Think about how bad it would be if there is no next gen consoles due to PC hardware being so cheap a $200 PC could run just about everything at 1080p 30 or 60FPS. I am thinking hardware post 2020 btw. Sony knows how huge of a threat PC gaming is and as I see it, trying to take on PC is like a lone person armed with nothing, but a dagger trying to take on Cthulhu. The only thing that can kill PC gaming is humanity going back to ...
Though opening up the PSP actually helped it greatly.
