Ridiculous statements are his forte, unfortunately. As to which is better, it's extremely relative to each gamer. The whole "hardcore versus casual" is another debate altogether. But whatever, long as the man has an opinion and makes such statements, he should be prepared to back them up. It's just what he uses to back them up, ("Imagine Killzone 3 with Motion Controls!") is just plain fantasizing.
Meh. Maybe you can play Mass Effect Galaxy or MGS Touch using these new controls? And no, I have no clue how that works or why'd any one would want to. If anything, it signifies the ever approaching end of buttons. If there's any nation of consumers more rabid than the Wii Fit one, it's the iPhone/iPod one. Could herald a change. Or just get ordinary people to hate iPod users more.
Great, give them ideas. As if they haven't added an "i" to everything else so far. :-/
Castlevania is much more commercially sound and relevant as a franchise than Zone of the Enders. It'd be great to see it in high-def but as long as a Castlevania, Silent Hill, Metal Gear, etc. are available for Konami to create sequels, ZOE 3 may never happen. But good to see the devs stating that if fans want it, they'd be more than happy to give it to them.
@Sackboy:
Well, Kojima also created Metal Gear Solid Touch, which was basically MGS4 for the iPhone. And that sucked. So better to wait for the game's release before deciding who made the better game in the past and whatnot. And hey, look at it this way: No one involved in MGS Rising has worked on Snake's Revenge. :)
The fact that he said EA SPORTS ACTIVE in all caps? Or in bold font? Or again and again? :P
Yeah, the same thing happened to me before (little pre-teen = faithful companion and admirer). Not in a game, but in a writer's forum. So this isn't simply limited to gaming. Kids tend to have that notion - of just wanting to cling to something. They learn but man, does it take a while and a whole lot of hard truths.
Just because you make it a blog post doesn't make you sound any more convincing. Sorry, but all you're doing is reinforcing the stereotype that gamers make terrible writers and that PS3 fanboys make terrible negotiators. On a sidenote, HipHopGamer is on the prowl for idiots like you to contribute to his cesspool of bilge so dream big! :D
I approached Halo 2 with much enthusiasm and was disappointed with the single-player. Multiplayer worked out nice, despite the trademark Halo quarks but I was expecting a whole more direction and plot from something that was tauted to be this indigenous space opera. Not just "run around the place shooting stuff up". Metroid Prime at the time did not use any bump-mapping whatsoever and yet, it still looked better than Halo 2. Halo 3 was a little more solid in terms of gameplay and st...
(In response to my stating it to be new): "Whatever dude, this is NOT news, its a waste of time, and its NOT going to get approved!"
Strange how he missed this though:

So, yes. Worse things have been reported and subsequently approved. :)
It'll be from September 24-27. The first two days will be for the game devs and journos, while the 26-27 will be open to the public.
I remember hearing that Gran Turismo 5 would be out some where around the end of this year? Though they most likely pushed it forward to January or February 2010. God of War 3 is out in March, and it'd be kind of weird to release it a few months after that. So yeah, between Dec 2009 to Feb 2009 seems likely.
Great. E3 2010 here we come. Here's hoping Miyamoto doesn't tease us with a million countdowns till then (unlike some OCD-afflicted devs).
Hence the sarcasm in the headline. Seriously though, if Miyamoto were to create the same game as those two, it's doubtful fans would be forgiving. Much less keep quiet about it.
Edit: Though yes, most likely he could just create some kind of small twist or the other on previous ones and people would lap it up. It's not an issue of quality but saturation. People will be too happy with the title to care if it's revolutionary. But when they're finished with it, they'll just be righ...

This article centered around the same idea was N4Ged before. The new one is the exact same thing but elaborated upon more. Doesn't that make this a duplicate? Why make a completely when you could just go back and add updates to the old one?
Eh. He's a gaming journalist who knows his stuff. And hey, even Osuwah said something similar - surprises being in store - on viewing PS Lifestyle's story on major Playstation E3 games. So, yeah. Go figure.
Lol, aside from the list that PS Lifestyle provided. Which is a pretty big list so the addition of unannounced games is kinda strange.

I mean, what else is left?
On N4G, there have been plenty of announcements and news that were discovered through the developers' official Twitter accounts. I agree that discredible info often seeps through from Twitter from people who aren't even in the industry. This guy has played Uncharted 2. He works for Sony. He felt it was so good that it was the next Gears. And you don't make statements like those lightly - he obviously knew that, because he played Gears of War as well.
First you said he didn't say ...
From his official Twitter account:
"SOLELY my OPINION from playtesting/playing both games respectively; UNCHARTED 2:Multiplayer=Gears of War 3.0. Naughty Dog outdid themselves!"
