I remember back in the day the game Tie Fighter for pc made use of every single button on the keyboard, crazy flight sim, and all the buttons had a necessary function

in regards to the wii vs. ps3, i don't think nintendo will drop prices for a long time, they are making a huge profit on the wii hardware, and the ps3 makes a loss, so even if the ps3 pulls ahead in console numbers the wii has made hundreds of millions for nintendo, they will let it ride out until the sales really fall off before they drop the price. I hope sony sales start to pick up because they have lost a hell of alot of money getting their console and blu ray in the position it is in now...

in the sheme of things, supposedly Australia has slow internet......but a while ago someone made a thread about testing internet speed, and my speed was waaaaaaaay higher than 99% of the people that posted, and most were american, the u.s internet providers need snap out of it, it's a joke

it does seem kind of so/so, but as there is a major lack of current rpg pc games ( or any decent new pc games) i pre ordered anyway..

i get the sarcasm, but the author is obviously too stupid to realise that bethesda is not developing the game... if they had written someone from obsidian had sad that more people may have been fooled, if you wanna be sarcastic you have to go all out...make it seem semi plausible

i signed the petition, but any fool can see that after 50,000 sigs the rest were mostly auto name generating bots, with no comments posted along side the signatures, i hope that their "pseudo lan" is just online confirmation of a cd key etc, before reverting to offline, i could handle that.....but c&c4's constant internet connection requirement...i cannot.

"he worst part was then watching my boyfriend play the demo, and beat the demo effortlessly"

it's funny because it's true...yet i can't manage to beat my gf's facbook tetris score....

i'm sure at the design table, the physics based mako got a round of applause, but for the love of god it was infuriating. They musn't have even tested path-ability for some of the terrain, one slightly wrong turn, and you on a slope too steep to climb up, ARGH

@ kakkoi

no. the lower the timings the more calculation per cycle, the higher the speed the faster it's read per cycle, you want the highest speed+ the lowest timings, 1600 ram @ 7-7-7-20, is way better than 1600 ram @ 9-9-9-24, the prob;em with really fast ram though is that the faster the ram is, the looser ( higher) the timings are, so you wont find much lower timings than 9-9-9-24 at high speeds, but like i said even 8-8-8-21 or something is better, which is why ram with lowe...

that art style thing was a joke, i for one hated how dark diablo 2 was, i have perfect eyesight but when your playing for hours and hours on end.... ( which is mandatory in d2), it hurts

i think it's more to do with accidentally trading things, or maybe auto equiping picked up items which will replace worn ones ( if better) UNLESS you manually equip it, making it stick, my points above:

"So if you yourself "own" an item from it being bound, you can trade it between all the characters on your account freely"

"One obvious issue with it is that it removes market demand. If you already have the best staff in the game you'll never...

...just sounds like a shared inventory item section of the stash that all of your characters call communally share, like in sacred 2... which is a good thing, nothing worse than having to screw around trying to trade items online, when if you find a set item for another character you can just pass it along.

I also don't know what he meant with the "best staff in the game" comment, don't all items have level requirements, so you wouldn't be able to just give hard core it...

did bobby kotick write this article?, it sounds like like something only someone as close minded and ignorant as a game ceo cold fail to grasp people's displeasure at an overpriced game that looks like a game from last gen and also runs at sub- 720p,

I mean best graphics, best gameplay, perfect pricepoint, activision FTMFW!!!

i'm glad i pre-ordered this and paid in full before my huge electricity bill came....otherwise i wouldn't be able to get it...i'd blame money for my problem but i think it's more the fact that mass effect is $109 on pc in aus

@ disagree, you are pathetic, a person can't even make a comment, even one devoid of any sort of fanboy bias without getting a disagree

i'd pirate his game just for him being a tool, but it doesn't even sound like it's worth pirating

the gaming developers and publisher really just don't get it.

Trying to discuss it with them is like trying to have a conversation about pro choice with a christian ( bangs head against wall)

6051d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

That sucks, games here in aus are already $100, if they go up elsewhere, they may go up here too, and i'm not paying more than $100 for a game............and companies wonder why people pirate,

the time when i stop gaming is looming near...i'm sure time spent with the mrs is time better spent anyway...just gotta break the habit of ocd gaming till 4 am

@below, i live in Newcastle, but for the last 3 years i'd lived in Ballina, near Byron bay. It's good to be back down...
