yeah unfortunately i think ati will win this round as nvidia most likely wont come out swinging till early next year, although i'm still not sure when the new ati cards will come out
it's sad for I.D, but seeing as they're using a souped up 5 year old engine, and the game god O.K reviews ( not good reviews) it's hard to spend $99aus on it
before people start claiming this is b.s, it was clearly specified in the contract that they'd have to have begin development by a deadline, and that if bethesda didn't approve of the content and amount of development that they could pull the plug...
if a contract said "you have 2 years to make this game, or we keep your millions of dollars you paid for the contract", and i didn't think i could do it...i wouldn't sign the goddamn contract.

you obviously didn't read it all, the gpu isn't in the iphone, the frames are compressed by a server computer which has the gpu, and it's sent to the iphone, you just use the phone to control it, it's basically crysis as a web based game (at iphone resolution)
yeah i know, direct x update and driver update are 2 different things, i always update and use driver sweeper, but there hasn't been a dx10b update etc like there was with 9
i never got the direct x updates, your never promted to install them etc, do never games just automatically update your direct x when you install them?
there's no mention of any dx11 features running on dx10 hardware, i remember reading that some of the dx11 would run in dx10 hardware, they lied!

don't get me wrong, i hope they're that deep, but i agree with what they said, that it must be hard to get it right when there are so many things that could take you out of the immersion, there are so many games where it's almost laughab...

I have nothing against XP, and plan to downgrade from vista on my laptop to XP due to hardware requirements

my main pc runs vista fine.....the laptop i'm using now...does not, 2 gig of ram + vista = a slow painful death

i'll never forget the ps2 marketing, they were the best adds, like 30 seconds of random sci-fi acid trip followed by the words "the third place"
sounds good, but bioware are always good in their gameplay and story elements, the one downside of this game seems to be the graphics, but we'll find out soon enough,

i heard the 360 version of fallout was far better looking, less screen tearing, better anti aliasing etc than the ps3...oops that's all multiplats ;)

a game of the year edition is coming to all platforms also
mass effect will only ever come to pc and 360 ( ps3 fans haven't had a 10 million seller yet= ps3 owners don't buy games, and bioware know where the money is)
doesn't sound as promising as i'd hoped, but that's one reviewers opinion, the metascores will know

wow those benchmarks are hawt, my guestimate was 45frames average @1680*1050 4*aa, which would be about a 50% improvement over the gtx280/285, but this is even better, i'm glad i started saving now, BAM
