the character development in bioware games is truly unrivaled if they do return, mass effect 2 will only be a more fulfilling game for it

what the hell are you smoking, i assure you, right now there are more people playing starcraft, counterstrike, and wow, than there are on xbox live and psn combined...you do realise there are hundreds of millions of people with pc's and the majority of them would be used for some for of gaming
i thought x-blades was ok, not a lot of replay value, but the playthrough lasted a fair while
holy crap, that is epic, in game and cut scenes look amazing...I always intended to get a ps3 when this game came out, I just hope it's not shortened down ( the old graphics over game time scenario)
I'm not even sure about RAGE anymore, the only game from I.D I have eyes for is Doom 4, and even then it'd have to be something really special to cut it these days, I.D no longer has the graphics crown...and story telling and gameplay wise they aren't going too strong either, they can talk all they want about megatextures but if the game plays like doom 3.5 then it'll be "game over man"

that's a crazy wait but valve and blizzard are two companies that really make critically acclaimed games ( every time), and as with anything that good they take their time....the next tool album for example guaranteed good sh!t
the 8800 series was f-ing awesome, i had a 8800gt 512mb and it served me well
I agree, even as a pc enthusiast i have to say that it's good that the game requirements are leveling out, I think alot of people that diss crysis now as they can't play it on max, will start to appreciate that it's also a great game when they can max it out and not feel inferior.
I'm at odds about a ram upgrade, of course faster ram is better but the performance gain is pretty small, even for the best ddr3( fast/low timings)ram over generic slow ddr2 ( instead of 30frames in cry...

well speculation it may be.........but speculation from inside the valve headquarters is more valid than pachter spouting from his soapbox with no clue, let us hope this is true, too many vavle haters at present, we need HL3 to restore valve apon the fps throne

sounds like a good system, i'm running a q9450@3.2 and plan to keep it for a while, the i7's are not always better than the phenoms and c2q's in game benchmarks, but I will not sleep until crysis is defeated!, i'ma gonna sell my gtx280 and get a new card too, i've never owned an ati card but the benchmarks are amazing
i wish i knew how much they would cost in $aus, the price is usually almost double,even though the exchange rate is good...but the price is more about how much they can get for it, not how much it's worth, punish me corporate overlords, the lowly consumer I am
