I for one loved it, the first playthrough i was expecting more action, but the driving to different places just adds to the open world feel of the game, i enjoyed the game alot more on the second and third playthrough
and when your playing at 1680*1050 max settings for everything and 8*aa it's damn nice driving scenery anyway
The gameplay was awesome, and the weapon upgrades made the game so much fun. The realistic story was another one of the game's good points.

I think it's a joke that console's don't support backwards compatibility as fully as they should, people spend alot of money on the games for each gen, only to have the games die with the consoles.

it's still relevant though, which is why i posted it, i7 is the newest cpu from intel( and along side the i5, several new i7 models have come out)
and alot of people including myself have been tossing up whether it's worth upgrading, and this is helpful
After seeing articles for and against i7 vs c2q, it seems other benchmarks i've found show that
1. The i7 doesn't perform better in games ( when compared to similar speed C2Q's)
2. That the i7 under-performs with single NVIDIA gpu's
3. That the price difference for the i7 over c2q isn't justified for the small gains in some games ( especially seeing as there is a decrease in performance in some, and the cost of the ddr3 ram+ new mobo)

I don't know what i want to do, i want to get an i9 as it's such a big improvement over the i7's, but it seems like they'll only release an extreme edition ( or just one model of it), and if that's the case then i'll have to wait for the 8 cores( which are so far away), that's the damn problem with upgrading, figuring out when the right time is too get the best parts ( buying a dual core would have been a bad move imo)

i can understand why people were bored, but the story was good in my opinion. Finding all the jackal tapes and the extra tapes from the bonus mission added alot to the game, the graphics are truly amazing and the second best graphics of any pc games i've played (counting crysis and crysis warhead together as one). The weapon customisation added alot to the replayability....i never used a grenade launcher until me third playthrough....how foolish i was, that gun OWNS!
