I dont agree with the DVD writer in a games console, I think thats a bit off the mark.
whataver optical drive it uses im sure it will be backwards compatible with Blu-ray as that is going to be the home movie format for at least the next 10 years.
The games might be on some new stoarge medium but to be honest i cant see much need beyond a 250Gb Blu-ray disk. I think Sony will probably just use a much faster blu-ray drive in the PS4.

This is 3D in the sense that you can actually walk around it and view the subject from any direction. so if you were looking at a girl face to face then you could walk around the display and see the back of her head.

Graphics are just another part of the immersion in a game, I tend to find that the more immersed I am in the game then the more I enjoy it – however graphics are not the be all and end all of gaming, just a cherry that goes on the gaming cake.

The lag that has been shown so far on the breakout demo shows that natal isnt even suitable for a dance mat type game.
Its an advanced eye-toy, its a laggy control interface, but most of all (as with most peripheral add-ons) its a gimmick.

When PS2 games were ported to the original Xbox then it was usually well after the release of the PS2 version and the games were indeed improved to take advantage of the Xbox's better hardware.
Now if games are released side by side then the PS3 version suffers due to it being harder to develop for, but if the developers are given a chance to optimise the game for the PS3 hardware then you end up with a superior version like Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma etc.

Natal is the camera, you dont need the Natal hardware and then the Xbox camera as well.
In fact Natal pretty much renders the Xbox camera obsolete so anyone who shelled out for that has just been bummed by Microsoft... again.
