Anyone who has built and coded games has learned to do it on the PC using standard PC programming languages. Once you have learned that skillset then are good to go with making PC games.
The guys at Naughty Dog (and other PS3 developers) have had to learn those exact same skills that everyone at Valve learned and then challenge themselves and apply those skills in an innovative way to a radically different piece of hardware.

This looks like it could be one of my favourite games this year, could possibly be the one that makes me get a 360.
To all the PS3 crowd then be honest, this looks like a quality title and if it was on the PS3 then you'd be snapping it up.
When this game was first announce I thought it looked amazing – open world full of dynamic elements. Now it looks like a next gen Silent Hill, which is still good since I like Silent Hill games.
The excuse that it wouldn’t be scary or lose the story by being open world is lame. GTA San Andrea’s managed story and open world, Even Zelda has managed story and open world since the SNES.
if that ever happened then that would probably be the only thing that would convert me to a motion control supporter.
Of course id probably smash the TV to bits when i try and leap at it doing a diving thrust with the moon spear but hey, thats what insurance is for.

Im really on the fence about the “Arc”, im sure it will work well for slower paced shooting games like Reisdent Evil 5 or some kind of sword fighting game – but I don’t really see it working in the more fast paced intense FPS games like Killzone …and im not sure I would want to.

Actually the comparison in this video really highlights just how poor Halo 3 looks compared to MAG - the bit about the spartans being painted camp neon colours cracks me up.

I think your probably right in that Sver had it easy at first but the other factions have gotten a lot better. Ive played a few matches tonight and on Sabotage attacking and defending Sver got whupped, not just beat - whupped.
I think after the next round of tweaks (sort out that LMG Zipper !) then we are gonna have a really well balanced game.
