Wii is still selling nicely and has been a nice cash cow for Nintendo. It would make more sense for Nintendo to wait a few years and then release the Wii 2 (or whatever its called) which has HD capablities, improved motion controls, HDD...etc.
Of course Nintendo has a habit of releasing incremental upgrades (gameboy - gameboy colour, DS - DSI) so maybe they will just stick a HDMI port on the back of a Wii.

I think Borderlands is a great game, lots of room for improvements butits a good foundation to improve on for a sequel. Kinda like Assasins Creed was a good (but flawed) foundation which they have perfected for the sequel...apparently.
Firstly dont make assumptions - I am a fan of the PS3 as a product but I am not a fan of Sony over any other company. When i chose to purchase a next gen console i bought the one which was technically better and had the games i wanted. Im pretty sure some PS3 games have dedicated servers (Warhawk, MGO).
Some of teh points he makes are valid but again the one about naming the host game applies to games i play on my PS3. MGO and Killzone 2 allow you to name your game, didnt realise other games didnt do this.

Well yeah it does, if we are discussing a new engine for the xbox which is touted as being able to create better looking games than the PS3 is capable of then of course it matters - visual capability is the entire point of the discussion.

The console war in terms of sales leans in the favour of the Xbox 360 by a good few million and i would be very surprised if the PS3 took the lead next year, either way its certainly not GLOBAL DOMINATION.

The gaming division would have taken a financial hit in order to incorporate Blu-ray into the PS3 which bumped up the console price and incurred a loss - however, this strategy would increase revenue across the blu-ray division in the long term by having it become the HD standard.

The game is very good but if you think its visually anywhere near as good as Killzone 2 then your off your head.
I think the gameplay is very smooth but graphically its pretty poor.
